We are a camping couple. It's what we love to do! One of our goals is to visit as many National Parks as possible. We are saving up for a trailer to make our adventures a little easier and more fun!

To begin our honeymoon adventure, we'll head over the border and continue north to Tsawwassen. From there, we'll take the ferry to Vancouver Island (Nanaimo).

The first night of our honeymoon will at a small motel in downtown Nanaimo. It's a short drive from the ferry terminal, which I'm sure we'll appreciate after a long first travel day.

We will be staying in the romantic and totally off-grid (no electricity!) Humming Bird Yurt for two nights at the end of our trip. This "glamping" (glamorous camping) experience will be one of the highlights of the entire trip. The two nights at this luxurious B&B is going to be amazing! This has been on our "bucket list" for many years. Included on the boat tour is wildlife viewing (sea otters, black bears, and whales !!!)

The best wildlife viewing is usually during dawn and dusk. If you known Jen, you know she doesn't like to wake up early. This sunset wildlife tour is perfect and will definitely make for an unforgettable evening.

We can't wait to try the fish and chips at this funky, locally-sourced-seafood shack.

This taco truck is legendary. The iconic orange truck resides at the back of the 'Live to Surf' parking lot, close enough to the windswept beaches of Tofino to grab a bite between surfs.

We both LOVE BBQ -- hence the BBQ food at our wedding reception. So, we definitely want to try Hank's and taste all the untraditional flavors.

The pancakes are shaped like whales...'nuff said.

We'll need a few good breakfasts to sustain us as we explore the vast Pacific Rim National Park. This place is supposed to have amazing breakfast sandwiches.

After a long boat ride or hike, nothing hits the spot like pizza. This local spot is supposed to be amazing. And, since our yurt doesn't have a kitchen (or electricity) I have a feeling we may be getting take-out from here multiple times.
