Although we have been together for 4 years, we have never been on a trip together for longer than 24 hours without our children. This makes planning our honeymoon EXTRA exciting. We will first travel to New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia for some white water rafting. After that, we will head over to Virginia to visit Shenandoah National Park where we will do lots of hiking together. Before heading back to Chicago, we will make our last stop in Pittsburgh for some smaller city fun!

Very practical, yes. Nothing says practical like two kids who majored in art and found themselves getting married again at 45. One thing we bonded over right away was food. As people who have been both vegetarian and non-veggie eaters, we are interested in all types of dishes, and excited to prepare them!
