We are excited to get to Sorrento and plan to stay at the Bellevue Syrene. This hotel rose up on the splendid remains of a majestic villa, a home destined to the otium of the highest Roman aristocracy, among them Emperor Augustus himself. The centuries have worn out the walls which hosted important personalities, politicians, intellectuals, but that cliff on the sea, which legend tells is inhabited by mermaids, continues to charm.

Well, we have to come back at some point. The great thing is we will be coming back with memories that will last a lifetime! This hotel is easy to get to the airport from and still have a beautiful view of Paris.

Annnnd we are off!!! Honeymoon time! As we are making this registry, it is hard to put into words how excited we are for our Honeymoon. We are filled with love knowing our most loved family and friends are making this trip a reality!

Up, Up and Away! Time to experience Italy! We have so man fun things planned while in Italy, but we have to get there first!

What is more romantic than couple’s spa treatments? Ryley and I both know some nice down time and relaxation will be the perfect complement to this exciting trip!

We know we will be spending a lot of time at the airport, the saying “hurry up and wait” has never seemed so true! Luckily having access to the Air France Lounge will make this more comfortable.

We plan to Indulge in a true gourmet French experience: preparing, cooking, and enjoying our own 3-course meal. We will choose between a 4.5- or 6-hour Paris culinary course (a 1.5-hour market visit is optional) then set out to learn the tricks and techniques of French cooking. An instructor will help us through the steps of creating an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. French wine is also included with our gourmet dinner.

All aboard! We will take the train to Reims for our first night in France. This train will take us to the Champagne region of France!

We are excited to visit The Louvre and see all the priceless treasures the museum stores. Our guides will take us through the museum and teach us unique facts that are not well known. The tour will highlight the most famous and unique pieces the museum has to offer.

Nothing says relaxation like being served breakfast in bed, after all it is a Honeymoon!

Ryley and I have both always wanted to see Pompeii and what better way to visit, than with a wine tasting! We will enjoy the enchanting atmosphere near the base of Mount Vesuvius, the massive volcano standing between the Gulf of Naples and the black lava uplands. We will walk around the beautiful vineyards of an important estate and will be told about the peculiarities of this territory, vines and grapes. We will enter the cellars, where the whole process of wine production will be explained, starting from harvesting and pressing to ageing and bottling. At the end of the visit it will be possible to taste the following excellent wines: vintage white, red and rosé Lacryma Christi of Vesuvius, 2012 reserve red Lacryma Christi, apricot spirit of Vesuvius and rosé sparkling wine Capafresca. We will walk around a vast citrus grove, where we will sample some products made with citruses typical of the area: mixed citruses salad, sweets and biscuits, lemonade and the famous limoncello, above all. It is the result of the lemon peels steeped in alcohol: the various steps of the sfusato Amalfitano production will be shown to us, from the plant growing to the product bottling. We don't want to miss out on this great experience among smells and colors of Amalfi Coast and its ancient traditions. Cheers!

We will learn how to make pizza, Italian gastronomic symbol, real and authentic heritage of the Parthenopean cuisine. We will be given an apron and the ingredients after listening to the story of this food made with flour, water, salt and yeast, which has been pleasing the palates for centuries. According to a popular tradition, in June 1889, during a visit to Naples of the King of Italy Umberto I and his wife Margherita, a pizza chef created the presently worldwide known Pizza Margherita, garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to represent the national colors of the Italian flag. We will bake our pizza into a typical wood oven and will finally taste it together with a beverage. To end with a bang, we will be offered a traditional dessert from Campania.

We will discover the beauty of Capri, one of the most enchanting islands in the Gulf of Naples, on this fantastic boat trip! Their expert staff will show us incredible sceneries, breathtaking views and the marvelous coastline, while enjoying a drink and relaxing on the comfortable boat at your disposal. Here are some of the highlights: The White Grotto, the Green Grotto, the Faraglioni Rocks (three stacks rising from the blue sea), Marina Piccola, Punta Carena and the impressive Blue Grotto, a karstic cave where sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern. There will be different stops for swimming, snorkeling or simply relaxing in the sun and feel the Mediterranean life.

The Eiffel Tower is a bucket list item for Cody. We are planning to make an amazing cheese board, grab a blanket and wine then take in all the beauty the Eiffel Tower has to offer!
