So much to see, so much to do...! We have three nights here before heading to Barcelona.

In Barcelona food is taken very seriously. People in Barcelona plan supper while eating lunch, and when planning a day trip their most important concern is where they are going to eat. We plan to do the same. With Barcelona's world-renowned chefs and delicious varieties of Catalan and Spanish cuisine, we'll surely be eating our way through this city.

One of the best water parks in Europe, Siam Water Park offers everything from the world’s largest artificial wave pool to thrill seeking rides and slides. Splish splash!

Rhymes aside, Brussels is actually known for its mussels, one of this couples' favorites.

A hidden culinary sanctuary, El Passadís del Pep is out of sight of anyone who isn’t looking for it. Once you go down the long corridor that leads to the restaurant, you don’t need to do anything, and that includes choosing what to eat. From the moment you sit down, the “house” offers you your first bottle of cava, and the celebration of food and life begins. There is no menu and there are no “daily specials,” just whatever Joan Manubens and his team decide to cook that day. Thanks to Shanna and Eric for the recommendation! We can't wait to see what they're cooking up the night we go here.

Friends have told us that Montserrat is an absolute must-see.

Translated as the ‘forest of the fairies’, this magical joint makes for the perfect starter bar for a night on the town as you find yourself in a unique setting with some reasonably-priced drinks. This café is also a part of the Barcelona Wax Museum, and its ‘haunted house’ at the back of the bar, with creepy mannequins and a magic mirror, is sure to leave a lasting impression.

This guided excursion will take us to the peak of Mount Teide, the tallest summit in Spain. This dormant (and closely monitored) volcano is the most visited natural wonder of Spain, and one of the most visited in the world. On clear days it is possible to see the profile of the nearby islands, such as La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria from the summit.

Described as the 'biggest little zoo in the world,' the Monkey Park in Tenerife is an international breeding centre for endangered species of primates. We can't wait to go and feed these little guys and walk around with them!
