We're super excited to relax by the beach in Milos, Greece. We picked this lovely little hotel run by a friendly Greek family to be our base while we are in the Greek Islands. We can't wait to see the sunrise (just kidding) from our balcony while eating the delicious homemade, local breakfast.

Our first stop in Greece will be one of the most beautiful seaport towns in the Peloponnese, Nafplio. We've booked a great room with a balcony and a panoramic view at the hotel Amfitriti Palazzo.

We're taking the ferry between Athens and Milos. What a great way to travel! (Good thing neither of us gets seasick.)

We're going to rent a car and drive from Athens to Nafplio. The scenery should be amazing, and we can stop whenever we want along the way. While in Nafplio, we'll use the car to head out an adventures like visiting the ruins at Mycenae and the the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus.

An excerpt from Nikos, our LandLife guide: "Initially we will ride our bikes, we will explore the paved Akronafplia along the crystal waters of the Argolic Gulf and we will reach the nearby golden beaches through wooded trails. This is the most beautiful trail to do with a bike. After this we will keep cycling and we will visit a small beekeeping unit outside Nafplio. After wearing the necessary protective clothing, we will approach the bee hives and the bees in their natural environment. Finally we will return to the beekeeping unit in order to taste delicious varieties of honey and Greek dishes with pure Greek honey as the main ingredient. I guarantee to you that this activity will be unforgettable for you and your fiancé and at the same time you will have the opportunity to taste some unique Greek tastes ( the total duration is 4 hours)."

Everything I have read indicates that the absolute best way to get to know a Greek island is to see it from the sea. We'd like to take a boat tour around Milos because it is full of many unique geographical features that can only be enjoyed by being on the sea. We'd love to spend a day with Chrysovalandou Catamarans and see gorgeous sites like Arkoudes, a complex of lava rocks, which takes its name from its characteristic shape - the form of a bear. We'll work our way all the way around the island while eating local Greek food and drinking ouzo. What could be better than that?

According to a review we read: "As soon as you walk in the atmosphere makes you feel at home. The menus are hand-written books in at least 5 languages with cute little wooden utensils stuck to the covers. There is a playground for the children and the service is lovely. The food comes in generous serving sizes, perfect for family-style sharing." We'll happily make O Hamos a home away from home for a night!

Ever since visiting Istanbul, we've loved exotic Middle Eastern designs. We are so excited to celebrate with this gorgeous china.

Fischmanns traditionally love soup, and I am definitely no exception to that rule. Luckily, Ryan is right there with me and loves soup as well. These gorgeous bowls will keep us stylish while we are sipping.

We'd love to commemorate our wedding by encasing the glass that Ryan will step on at the end of the ceremony in Lucite. Don't worry, we'll make sure it is a very breakable glass, though a dollar store hard-to-break glass would be a great practical joke.

We can't wait to spend an afternoon at the spa relaxing. A traditional hammam experience includes a steam room, exfoliation, and massage. Sounds lovely!

Ryan can't wait to really destress from all of the MBA work with the Relax Massage at Melian Spa.

Have you ever had a face and scalp massage? Claudia has not and thinks it would be a great way to relax after all the wedding planning!

It's been a long love affair with concrete, from the cocnrete canoe in college to getting my CSI (Concrete Special Inspector) certification. I'd love to continue the tradition with this super cool concrete mezuzah.

Having a kosher home means separate sets of silverware for meat and dairy. We love this very cool Alessi set and are planning to use it as our silverware for meat meals. It reminds Claudia of her maternal grandmother, who loved the Alessi designs.

We love the clean look of these salad servers. And we eat a lot of salads.

This is brilliant. Anyone who has cooked a roast or a whole chicken knows that moment of panic when you have your knife and carving fork sticking haphazardly into the meat and it slips just about out of your control. This is the solution to that panic.

Apparently it is a good idea to have salad plates in addition to dessert plates! I'll use the salad plates, and Ryan the dessert plates : )

At the end of the wedding ceremony, Ryan will stomp on this glass to break it. There are many different explanations as to why (we have some on the ceremony page of our website), but either way, it is a very exciting moment. After that, the ceremony is over and we are married! We're going to collect the pieces of this glass and have the cup reconstructed in a lucite cube so that we can remember the special moment forever.

On our way out of Greece, we have a one night stopover in Athens. We couldn't help splurging a bit and booking a hotel room with a view of the Acropolis. Ancient Greece was one of Claudia's favorite subjects in school, and we are very excited to see all the places she read about first-hand!

We love this bold, bright pattern - It reminds us of Istanbul, one of our favorite cities. We'll use these dishes as our meat set of every day dishes.
