Oakwynn Floral is the florist we decided to work with to provide bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding. They will be incorporating subtle Scottish and Filipino touches by including the MacKenzie Plaid Tartan ribbons and Sampaguita Flowers (aka: Philippine jasmine’) which is the national flower of the Philippines. It’s considered a symbol of fidelity, purity, devotion, strength, and dedication.

The Mill at Fine Creek will be providing our cake for the wedding. Shaun and I decided to go with a rustic style cake that will incorporate the same details as our bouquets and boutonnieres as decoration. The flavor cake we chose is Almond Chiffon Cake, layered with Almond Buttercream Icing.

Shaun and I moved into our house nearly four years ago which was built in 1951. We've made several home improvements since moving in such as screening in our back porch, fencing in our backyard, painting our cabinets and German Smearing our chimney. Our next project we would like to pursue would be opening up the wall between our living room and kitchen and adding in a bar cutout. After that we'll want to pursue insulating our attic, making improvements to our guest bathroom, master bath and eventually tackle getting new kitchen counter-tops and wood floors in the living room, kitchen and dining room.
