The mission of CMMP (Comprehensive Medical Mentoring Program) is to increase diversity in the health care field through mentoring high school and college students who have been historically underrepresented in medicine. Carter is a current mentor and prior board member of CMMP, which was founded by her medical school classmate Dr. Byron Jasper. We would *LOVE* your support for CMMP in honor of our marriage.

Bread for the city is a non-profit community organization in our neighborhood in D.C. The mission of Bread for the City is to “help Washington, DC residents living with low income to develop their power to determine the future of their own communities. We provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty. We seek justice through community organizing and public advocacy. We work to uproot racism, a major cause of poverty. We are committed to treating our clients with the dignity and respect that all people deserve.” We would *love* your support for Bread for the City in honor of our marriage!

N Street Village is a non-profit organization in our neighborhood that “empowers homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. to claim their highest quality of life.” A donation to N Street Village in celebration of our marriage would be an incredible present to both us and our neighbors.
