Lola ya Bonobo is the world’s only bonobo sanctuary. Located in the Democratic Republic of Congo (bonobos’ only natural habitat), Lola provides lifetime care to bonobos orphaned by the illegal trade in endangered wildlife. In addition to their work with rescue and rehabilitation, Lola ya Bonobo runs the first and only bonobo release program, and supports local communities who help protect released bonobos.

The Jewish Family Service of San Diego partners with the Jewish Free Loan Association to serve people of all faiths by providing interest-free loans to those in need in the pursuit of a more just society.
