We are excited to announce that we recently purchased our first home. Built in 1928 and within the Denver city limits, there is never a shortage of projects to keep us busy. This fund contributes to the continued improvements of our home. Our future guests can look forward to more electrical outlets in the guest room, more comfortable and abundant seating areas, and better appliances when inevitably included in food preparation.

Close your eyes and imagine The Dust Bowl – severe drought that damaged American and Canadian prairies during the 1930’s. Now fast forward to the year 2020 in the semi-arid state of Colorado. Focus your attention to a house on Elm Court purchased by two first time homebuyers. You will find not a lot has changed. These naive home purchasers decided that dust storms and the plight of 2020 was not enough. They walked into a dog rescue event with the intention of “just looking.” Immediately, they spotted a puppy that stood out from the rest of the dogs. “She’s so smart, look at how she can escape her cage unlike the other puppies,” they murmured ignorantly. Fast forward, again, if you will. The dog can jump over the fence escaping the barren land. This fund is labeled “Landscaping and Fence.” However, it would be more aptly stated, “Save Some Naïve New Homeowners from themselves.” This is a contribution to help grow grass and keep dogs in their respective yards.

We are not the only things that need to tighten up our backsides for the wedding.
