We collect Le Creuset cookware (it lasts a lifetime) but it takes a while for us to save up for one piece because this brand is more of an investment item. Any amount that goes to this fund will help us buy cookware that lasts our entire lives!

It just feels good to buy second hand. We love sourcing things to decorate our house or use to entertain gets by thrifting, browsing estate sales, and wading through swap meets. The hunt is thrilling, especially when you walk away with a true gem in perfect shape. And, most of all, it's always nice feeling to participate in activities that reduce our environmental impact. Brie here – I never knew how beautiful Washington state was until Ryan *really* showed it to me. He took me on my first backpacking trip where I got to see a technicolor sunrise and sunset, surrounded by 360 views of 3 different mountains. Since then, we've been on many overnights in Ryan's Japanese Delica van, but I still think about that backpacking trip all the time –the feeling I got when I felt totally tired, free, at peace, and utterly satisfied with Washington's natural beauty. We love spending time outdoors and in 2023, we want to go kayaking! This fund will contribute to supplies for both the van and our eventual kayaking purchase. We are so incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to buy our very first home within Seattle city limits! It's 105-year-old diamond in the rough, and we want to make the most of it.
