We’ll begin our honeymoon with a peaceful and luxurious stay at Sensi in the Azores. Surrounded by rolling green hills and sweeping ocean views, we’re planning a few days of pure relaxation, spa time, and slow mornings by the pool as we soak in our first days of married life together.

A few nights in Porto, staying at the Forte de Gaia, Autograph Collection, just across the river from the city. We’re excited to explore Porto’s historic streets, scenic views, and incredible food and wine.

We’ll be staying just outside Disneyland Paris for a couple of magical days during our honeymoon.

To fully explore the natural beauty of the Azores, we’ll be renting a car to drive along dramatic coastlines, past volcanic craters, and through lush green hills. This fund will give us the freedom to discover hidden viewpoints, thermal springs, and charming seaside villages at our own pace as we explore the island together.

During our time in the Loire Valley, we are staying on the property of the magnificent Château de Chambord, one of France’s most iconic Renaissance castles. This stay will give us time to explore the château and its beautiful grounds, bike through the surrounding forests, and experience the charm of the Loire Valley together.

This fund will help cover our roundtrip flights from Lisbon to São Miguel in the Azores, the first stop of our honeymoon.

We’re planning a full seaside day in Costa Nova and Aveiro, strolling past the famous striped houses, visiting the local fish market, walking the boardwalk near the Barra Lighthouse, and relaxing along the Atlantic coast. We’ll enjoy brunch, local pastries, and a waterfront dinner before exploring Aveiro’s picturesque canals and colorful buildings.

A fairytale day exploring several of the Loire Valley’s famous châteaux, beautiful gardens, and remarkable architecture. We’ll reach some by bike and others by kayak, experiencing this historic region in a unique and memorable way.

We’ll take to the skies in a hot air balloon over the Loire Valley at sunrise or sunset, lifting off near Château de Chambord. From above, we’ll watch the valley’s forests, rivers, and châteaux unfold beneath us for one of the most unforgettable views of our honeymoon.

An evening at Le Grand Saint-Michel near Château de Chambord, where we’ll enjoy French cuisine inspired by local ingredients after a day of exploring the Loire Valley.

We are hoping to try some of the unique food and drink items while we explore Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park!

We’ll spend the day in Portugal’s stunning Douro Valley, exploring hillside vineyards, enjoying a winery tour and tasting at Quinta da La Rosa, and taking in the sweeping river views. The day will include a relaxed meal overlooking the valley and a scenic boat cruise along the Douro River.

A chance for us to experience Porto from the water during sunset with a tasting at the Burmester Port wine cellar.

We’ll visit local vineyards in the Loire Valley to sample some of the region’s celebrated wines while learning about its long winemaking tradition.

After the wedding, my bouquet will be professionally preserved and displayed as artwork in our home. It is such a meaningful way to hold onto the beauty and emotion of that day.
