As many of you know, Alex's world was rocked when she started graduate school this past spring! Up late at her desk, studying in the dark will not be sustainable for long, as winter is coming!

It's a must for future parents to have "soccer chairs" right??

We want to remember this day forever! We would love to put two wedding photos above our couch in the family room, so that every day we are reminded of the day we shared with each other, our friends and our families.

We recently moved into a 1947 beautiful brick house in Golden Valley. After three basement floods in the first month of homeownership, we understood others' sarcasm when they exclaimed, "oh the joys of homeownership!". Thank goodness for the charm of this place!

Some of our favorite childhood memories include camping with friends and family. We hope to one day be able to make those memories for our future family too!

Birthday breakfast-in-bed was a tradition in Alex's family, and you bet she plans to keep that one going! Rest assured this gift would bring many sleepy smiles to our home <3

One of the biggest draws to our new home was the big backyard. We dreamed of the backyard gatherings we could have with each of you, and they all included grilling, games, and a bonfire!

Our favorite thing to do these days is sit around a bonfire in our backyard. Would you believe it if we told you many of our wedding details were built around that fire? A favorite was when we decided on our first-dance song. We will forever remember swaying under the stars in the bonfire light <3
