We are blessed to have a family member who works in the airline industry and he has been instrumental to helping us plan our European getaway; however, there will be fees and costs that we may have to cover, as well as pesky stand-by set backs that we might have to offset on the fly. This fund will help us safely make it across the pond and home!

We will be flying into Rome and spending a few days touring the magnificent city, just like our own "Roman Holiday"!

We are leaving the mainland to travel to the geological gem that is Corsica (a.k.a. Napoleon's home island) for a few days. We will hop on a ferry and spend a few days checking out the mountain stone villages, the coastal cities, the pristine lagoons, and the epic Corsican countryside.

I mean, it's Italy.... we are hoping to eat and drink like royalty. This will help us cover delicious breads, pastas, cheeses, artichokes, olives, cured meats, and the inevitable deluge of red wine and champagne, as well as the espresso we will need to keep up for two weeks!

It is one of Scott's dreams to drive the European countryside like the vintage "Grande Tours" of days past. It is Annie's dream to wear a silk scarf and sunglasses and soak up the scenery like a movie star. This fund will help make those dreams come true!
