We are going to Kruger! Bon found this amazing safari lodge, https://www.lionsands.com/our-lodges/river-lodge/. Game drives at dusk and dawn and wine by the pool in the afternoon. We literally can not wait for this!!

At Lion Sands you can sleep in a tree house out in the wild! The stars above and howling hyenas below. Obviously we have to do one night of this! Uhm, can leopards climb trees?

We want to see some southern right whales and humpbacks up close! We found Dyer Island Cruises which has eco-tours for this and they also do conservation work for the Dyer Islands marine life. We might visit shark alley as well but we won't be swimming with any great whites no matter how much Bonnie insists on it!

Cheetah Outreach works to protect the free ranging cheetahs that live in unprotected lands in South Africa. They also take visitors to their cheetah sanctuary. So we will be meeting this guy in the picture! His name is Tinashe. He is 2 years old and loves human attention. http://www.cheetah.co.za/2018/co_cheetahs.htm.

After the safari we will do two nights in Franschnoek, outside Cape Town. La Cle de Montagnes! http://www.lacle.co.za/

Franschnoek is apparently the culinary centre so we will put that to the test! Starting with a wine and cheese picnic at Le Cle de Montagnes.
