Made in America, Smithey Ironware Co. was born out of a passion for quality, vintage cast iron. Founder Isaac Morton established the company in 2014 with a small line of cast iron cookware that honored the classic style of heirloom skillets while using a manufacturing process that combines the best of hand and machine. Today, the company designs and manufactures an expanding range of premium cast iron cookware and accessories at its workshop in Charleston, South Carolina.

How To Season Cast Iron:
<ul>
<li>Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the interior of cast iron skillet.</li>
<li>On stovetop, bring skillet to scorching temperature until oil begins to smoke.</li>
<li>Turn off heat and rub remaining oil into skillet with paper towel. To avoid burns, do not directly touch skillet with hand.</li>
<li>Skillet will turn dark color. Allow to cool completely before handling and storing,</li>
