In 2006, the Seider brothers founded YETI Coolers with a simple mission: build the cooler they'd use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass-discount retailers. One that could take the abuse they knew they'd put it through out in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn’t break. They decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and firsthand experience — not from market research and data analysis. The Tundra 45 combines versatility with durability. This cooler is infused with that legendary toughness-a durable rotomolded construction and up to 3 inches of PermaFrost Insulation. It's UV-resistant, too, and nearly indestructible. The durable, marine-grade polyester rope handled with textured grips lets you easily haul your Tundra 45 to the campsite and out on quick hunting excursions. It's also great for a day on the lake, due to its molded-in tie-down slots and non-slip feet. All Tundra models come standard with one dry goods basket.
