We’ve been training with American Italian food our whole lives, but now it’s time for the real deal. This fund fuels our adventures in pasta, pizza, espresso, gelato, limoncello, and whatever else Gavin insists on trying while Belinda pretends to share.

While we’re away, our pup Kona gets his own little getaway. This fund covers his boarding, belly rubs, and making sure she doesn’t stage a jailbreak while we’re eating our weight in gelato

Some of the best memories aren’t planned. This fund helps us say yes to unplanned excursions. Whether it’s a random boat ride, a last-minute museum, or Belinda spotting a nature trail Gavin wasn’t ready for.

Belinda will want to bring home all the artisan crafts and pretty things, while Gavin insists “the funny magnet counts too.” This fund helps us snag glasswork, masks, wine, and little mementos to remember it all by.

Cruise ships don’t dock right next to the action, so this fund covers our taxis, shuttles, ferries, or however else we get from point A to pizza. It keeps us moving (and prevents Gavin from trying to navigate on foot).

Belinda will drag Gavin through every ruin, museum, and alleyway while snapping 300 photos; Gavin will crack jokes about gladiator gyms. Excursions include the Vatican & Sistine Chapel, Colosseum tours, villa gardens, or a pasta/wine day in Castel Gandolfo.

Pizza, piazzas, and ruins galore. Belinda will light up exploring Pompeii while Gavin carb-loads and cracks jokes. Excursions include Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast, and pizza making.

Belinda’s part Sicilian, so this stop is special. She’ll enjoy the stories and nature views while Gavin makes dumb volcano noises. Excursions include Mt. Etna hikes, Sicilian villages, and countryside tours.

Greek myth meets seaside calm. Belinda will love the coastal scenery; Gavin will distract with silly sounds in castles. Excursions include archaeological sites, the Castle of Charles V, and coastal village strolls.

From trulli houses to palm-lined streets, Bari feels like a storybook. Belinda will snap every rooftop, Gavin will clown around in castles. Excursions include Alberobello, Bari’s old town, and cathedral tours.

Cobblestones, fortresses, and Adriatic views. Belinda will be in awe of the old stone and seaside beauty; Gavin will test echoes with noises. Excursions include Old Town tours and fortress boat rides.

Quaint canals before the grand finale. Belinda will drift off with her camera, Gavin will corral her with gondolier impressions. Excursions include St. Mark’s, Doge’s Palace, Chioggia walks, and lagoon tours.

The trip ends with gondolas, masks, and glassmaking. Belinda will love the artistry, Gavin will sing off-key in a gondola. Excursions include gondola rides, mask workshops, glassblowing, and Rialto market strolls.
