When Tyler and I found out he got a job in New Mexico and we had less than a month to pack up and move, we knew this was our last chance to get married in Tennessee (where we met and have lived the last 6 years together — 8 years if you count college!). It was important for us to say goodbye to Nashville and our closest friends in this way. We had a tiny ceremony with 5 of our closest friends. Tyler's big brother in his fraternity and my friend of 12 years, Marshall, officiated the ceremony as a Notary Public. We took pictures on iphones and polaroids, I had a bouquet made by a friend who is a florist, and we had coconut pie as our "wedding cake." Our friend, Tori, altered my dress we found at a vintage bridal shop in Nashville. After the ceremony, we got changed and headed downtown for Nashville's Oktoberfest to celebrate. We missed our wider circle of friends and family, but we sincerely appreciate the love and understanding that allowed us to do it our way. Love, Bon & Bran
