We love to make purchases while traveling or from artists we meet. It is important to us to support small businesses and individuals wherever possible! We also don't currently have the space for many of the items we hope to have in our future home together. This fund will allow us to purchase items that feel meaningful to us, and at the right time. We intend to use this fund to buy a nice (end-grain) wooden cutting board, cake forks and demitasse spoons, wooden bowls, and more.

We are very excited to support an artist friend of ours who makes beautiful, unique, dishwasher-safe ceramics. Avery met Andrea Bush, the ceramicist, on a farm in Vermont almost a decade ago. Andrea is a trained chef and skilled potter who makes her own glazes. We already have a few AB Ceramic dishes and have been dreaming of having a complete set!

Mezuzah scrolls handmade by our friend and neighbor, a sofer (ritual scribe), using fair-trade materials.

We would love to use this fund to select Judaica that feels meaningful to us, especially items that we come across in our travels or from local artists.
