We are fortunate enough to have lots of home items we already need. For our honeymoon we are visiting a place very special to us both. We are going to Japan to experience Okinawa and mainland. Michael has not been to Okinawa or the mainland of Japan to experience his heritage. Aubrey, as a navy brat, used to live there in ‘99-‘00 with her family when her dad was active duty. We will be flying to Tokyo and to Okinawa from mainland Japan.

We will be in Okinawa 6 days and we are hoping to explore as much as we can. We will stay in Nakijin and in the port city of Naha.

We are planning to visit Tokyo and Kyoto for a few days each. We will explore temples, shrines, beautiful gardens and as much as possible in our time!

We still have the table and (now broken) chairs that Aubrey bought off craigslist before sophomore year at Virginia Tech, so its time for an upgrade!

We do not know which security system we need yet and plan to research after our honeymoon, but we do want to get something for our townhouse.

In Japan, the best way to travel is by rail. We will explore Tokyo by local subway. We will also take the shinkansen 'bullet train’ across the country to various places, including Hakone, near Mt Fuji, and Kyoto and Osaka.
