We will conquer a traditional wooden boat and drift down the Hozugawa River for two hours through a forested gorge, guided by boatmen using bamboo poles just as they have for over 400 years. The river winds through rapids and calm stretches, past mossy canyon walls and towering trees, before delivering us into Arashiyama.It's the kind of timeless experience we dreamed about when we started planning this trip, and your gift makes it possible.
