<p>The E8 creates 17 unique coffee specialties from freshly ground whole beans. It also has a pre-ground coffee option. This machine's grinder is a new generation PAG2. The grinder's fineness can be adjusted before a brew cycle by easily rotating the lever. The E8 can program each specialty to your desire using 10 coffee strength levels, 3 temperature levels with specific .5 ounce volume increments. Milk specialties are another option using JURA’s 3rd generation Fine Foam Frother which produces a rich, velvety milk foam. Each milk specialty can be programmed with your preferred amount of milk foam and you can add an extra shot of espresso if you desire. For tea drinkers, its separate hot water spout means no comingling with coffee and offers three temperature settings. Hot water from this spout is also used to brew the perfect Americano or Caffe Barista. The color display has clearly marked buttons flush with the screen to resemble a touchscreen display. The drink’s programming functions, machine settings and maintenance alerts are located in the easily accessible cockpit. The E8’s modern design elements include a grooved water tank with metal handle for comfortable handling, the convenience of its accessibility from the front of the machine as well as its chrome-plated cup platform, coffee spout and milk frother. The E8 can be activated to use its smart mode (Artificial Intelligence) to automatically arrange products by preparation frequency on the start screen. The intelligent water system (I.W.S. ®) automatically detects the water filter and communicates via RFID technology between the machine and the CLEARYL smart+ water filter. The CLEARYL smart+ water filter provides perfect quality water for best possible flavor, protects the internal system against limescale and removes substances that impact your coffee quality. Clean up is a breeze with this machine. Coffee grounds and tray are easy to access from the front of the machine and the one-touch milk system cleaning process operates at a touch of a button.
