Thousands of families in the Twin Cities are now facing eviction after ICE's brutal siege this winter forced them to close a family business, stay home from work and school, or suffer the kidnapping of a breadwinner. We (A+C) both spent formative time in the Twin Cities, and they taught us--as they have now taught much of the world--what it means to be in solidarity with one another. We invite our guests to stand with this beloved community as they heal from the trauma of this occupation.

Anera provides food, water, schools, and essential medical care for refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Jordan. As conditions worsen through the region, well-organized charities like Anera are a lifeline for thousands of people. It would mean the world to us to support them through our wedding.

South Brooklyn Mutual Aid provides clothing, school supplies, baby boxes and diapers, and financial support to community members in need in our part of Brooklyn.
