Due to Ari's school and clinical schedule, we aren't able to go on a big honeymoon right now, but we still want to take a few days to relax in the midst all the wedding craziness. We're spending three nights in the San Juans - the islands where we took our first vacation, and where we got engaged. This will cover the cost of travel, plus renting a little cottage on the ocean where we can sip champagne while we look for whales.

Pizza and Brown Cow will be staying with one of their favorite dogsitters while we're in the San Juans and Michigan. Help us enjoy our celebration, knowing they're having as much fun as we are.

We currently have a double bed with a flimsy IKEA mattress. Between Ari's back problems and the 150 lbs of pit bull bed hogs that want to be next to us, we have been dreaming of getting a king size bed with a quality mattress. We decided on a mattress, and can't wait to spend our married life drooling and snoring on a giant fluffy cloud.

We moved from a studio apartment into a 1100 sq foot house, so we have a lot more space than we are used to. We would love to get a futon, so we could make a guest bedroom for all of you to come visit us, a coffee table, and some shelving for the garage.

We bought a little fixer upper last spring, and have been very slowly renovating it. So far, we repainted the whole inside, tore out the carpets, had new floors put in, rebuilt the fence, exterminated the resident rat family and removed their insulation nest. Next up, we want to get some better lighting, replace the counters, buy screen doors, and maybe even replace the insulation that the rats ate. DREAMING BIG! We would be deeply grateful for any donations towards the renovation of our little home.
