As individuals, our adventures abroad had lasting impact on how we see the world and empathize with others. Our honeymoon this December will be extra special, because it will be our first international trip together!

Founded in 2015, the Llikchary Institute is building an international school in the Ecuadorian Amazon to share the cultural richness of the indigenous people, provide economic and educational opportunities for the local Kichwa community, and protect this incredibly biodiverse habitat. Anna was recently invited to join the Board of Directors.

Hard to believe that even in one of the most affluent countries in the world, families are still going hungry. We sometimes volunteer at this local food bank.

Both of us have close family members who have battled cancer. We are so grateful that advances in cancer research and treatment have enabled the survivors to be with us today.
