A traditional Hawaiian luau is an unforgettable show that tells the story of the first Tahitian explorers to land on Hawaiian shores. We'll watch the mesmerizing tricks of flame twirlers, plus the graceful choreography of Polynesian dancers wearing traditional costumes. There will be live music to accompany the show, including powerful drumming on instruments handmade by the musicians.

We'll take a break from sunbathing & snorkeling & enjoy lunch on the beach at The Oasis on the Beach restaurant at the Waipouli Beach Resort.

While we're exploring the North Shore of Kauai, we'll stop for lunch at The Tropical Taco restaurant. Hanalei is a charming town just west of the North Shore. The historic Hanalei Pier was built in 1892 & we can't wait to visit this sleepy rainforest town!

We'll paddle through the lush tropical surroundings as we make our way down the Hanalei River out into the open Hanalei Bay, where we can catch a glimpse of the famous cliffs of Makana Peak (also known as Bali Hai).

We'll pretend we're Hawaiian residents by living in the rain forest in Princeville on the north shore of Kauai. We'll spend time relaxing on our private lanai and gaze out at the lush tropical jungle, waterfall draped mountains in the distance.

After a week of living in the rustic & lush rainforest on the North Shore of Kauai, we'll venture to east shore of Kauai & relax in luxury for a few days!

The only way to see the northwest side of the island is by helicopter or boat. We'll take an expedition with Captain Andy's Sailing Adventures. We'll explore the Na Pali Coast on a custom 24' rigid hull raft, snorkel a remote beach, Nualolo Kai, and hike to the ruins of an ancient Hawaiian village.

Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, is a large canyon, approximately ten miles long and up to 3,000 feet deep, located on the western side of Kauai. We'll take a guided tour through the Canyon & venture to the famous Waipo'o Falls.

We'll eat lunch at The Dolphin restaurant, a casual restaurant in the charming town of Hanalei & it features fresh food and outdoor tables with a view of the Hanalei River.

Does anything sound better than a couples massage on the beach?! We'll allow the Mana of the ocean to flow through us as we relax after an adventurous week!

We'll sip wine with dinner at Oasis on the Beach restaurant at Waipouli Beach Resort.

What's better than breakfast in bed? We'll order room service at the Waipouli Beach Resort!

Kauai is the natural home for the Koloa Rum Company. Hawaiian cane sugar, pure mountain rainwater and much Aloha come together to produce single-batch rums. We'll visit the distillery on our way home from a day of island exploration.

Kauai offers the oldest and most protected reef ecosystems of all the major Hawaiian Islands. In addition to snorkeling at the local beaches, we'll board a catamaran to experience the remote snorkel spots!

One of the very first things we'll do when we get off the plane is buy our own snorkel gear so we can experience all the marine life that local Kauai beaches have to offer!
