Joseph and I are still deciding what exactly our honeymoon will look like, but we so appreciate your help in making it special! Rest assured we will keep you updated and share lots of pictures!

In moving into our first official home together, Joseph and I would really love to make it feel cozy and welcoming by picking out a few items such as soft rugs, a little kitchen storage shelf unit, some vintage picture frames for our wedding photos, and a few windowsill pots for our herbs. We also welcome anyone who has more interior design experience than we do to give any and all advice for small spaces!!

Sara grew up cooking on a similar set and even all this time later, they still look amazing so we knew we had to include them in our own kitchen! Please send recipe recommendations our way!

Joseph's sourdough bread has been such a fun project, but it's definitely time to upgrade our tools a little bit. This nifty crock would allow us to carefully monitor the progress of our starter!

One of the most rewarding parts of our lives is growing and cooking with produce from our garden. It's how we reconnect with the Earth and with each other in a simple, habitual way. While we won't have our own yard in Palo Alto, we will have access to a beautiful community garden plot that we look forward to cultivating during California's generous growing season! Also, the seed variety in the photo is our favorite kale! It grows so beautifully!

Spoiler alert: there won't be cake at our wedding. But don't worry! There will be plenty of sweet treats! We will also, similarly, not be using these pans for many traditional cakes, but Sara has 101 ideas for other desserts and savory bakes that would be perfect in them!

We respect folks who like to drink their tea from those dainty little tea cups, but that's definitely not us. We like a mug we can carry around, bring to the garden, and cozy up with outside on the patio on a chilly morning.

One of the first things Joseph and I made together in the kitchen was a (rather large) batch of gnocchi. We're not sure if ricing the potato is the most traditional move, but we find it really helps texturally!

There's an episode of Salt Fat Acid Heat where Samin Nosrat simmers beans in this style of pot. The Scandinavian minimalist design sold us and Sara hunted it down. We're so excited to recreate that scene in our kitchen!

We have been using a mat like this for several years during the holidays at Sara's grandparents' home. It's the perfect surface to knead soft, yeasted breads like Finnish pulla! Ask us for the recipe if cardamom-cinnamon rolls sound as delicious to you as they are for us!

Watching Sara try to cut out a perfect circle of parchment is hilarious, but these will certainly save quite a lot of time and paper!

Even though we grew up barely a mile apart, it took us each moving to Berkeley to meet. We both love Alice Waters' philosophy of cooking and Sara would love to show Joseph the amazing food at Chez Panisse!

Isn't this so beautiful? We both have such a weak spot for beautiful ceramics and this one will no doubt be central to our kitchen for decades. It can be used as a rice pot, soup pot, steamer, and braiser! And Sara definitely already bought the cookbook that goes along with it...

Maybe if they're cute Sara will actually use pot holders and Joseph won't have to ice her fingertips after dinner. Let's find out!

For Valentine's Day one year, Sara made apple cardamom hand pies with little hearts on them and Joseph was so excited that we'd like to make it a tradition! This piece of marble will help us roll out delicate pastry on a cool surface!

When you buy as much produce as Sara does, you end up with a lot of peels and pits...

The first thing we're going to make in this is Claire Saffitz's ricotta cheesecake - please look up the recipe! It's amazing!

Joseph's lovely parents gifted me a beautiful cast iron skillet (and a mini version! Adorable!) a few years ago that has become a staple of our cooking together. We'd love to add this piece to our collection for all of those times we've tried to put a little *too many* vegetables into a single pan!

Sara wants you all to know that this is all her. They've been bookmarked on her laptop for years and is definitely using our wedding as an excuse to add these cuties to our kitchen! How fun would Thai kabocha curry be in these?!

Sara's sister, Sabrina, said this was a good idea to consider and ever since then we've thought up lots of ways to use it!

Ask Sara how much she loves citrus. Hint: it's a lot!

Do we already own a colander? Yes. Is it big enough to fit Sara's farmer's market hauls? No. This one will help us keep up with both our garden and the market with ease!

Believe it or not, this was a "controversial" choice for us as we had previously identified as *exclusively* slow cooker people. Then Sara read an article about how quickly you can cook dry beans in one of these babies and we were sold.

Is it even a wedding registry if it doesn't have this stand mixer on it? All kidding aside, Sara has coveted her own stand mixer since she was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter. Both Sara and Joseph love baking and creating both sweet and savory treats to share. If you choose to contribute to this gift, get ready for a lifetime supply of baked goods!
