We're going to take advantage of gorgeous summer weather and check a state off our 50 states list: Maine! (As well as New Hampshire and Massachusetts, for Krystina) We're flying into Manchester, NH but then immediately taking a road trip up to Bangor, Maine to start our road trip down the coast! We plan on visiting Bangor for Independence Day and some whale watching, hiking and picking blueberries in Acadia, and maybe grabbing some lobster rolls in Wiscasset or Freeport on our way to check out breweries in Portland! We'll stop in Boston (so K can see it and get some clam chowder) and then work our way down to Rhode Island, where we may make a quick stop in Nantucket before flying out of Providence. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
