Garrett teaches Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 at Lively Middle School. Donations to his classroom fund would help him purchase school supplies, classroom furniture, snacks for the kids, buzzers for quiz games, and other items to make the room a safe and enriching environment for his students.

TEXSAR is an organization near and dear to Ashley. After joining the organization as a Search and Rescue Technician in 2019, it kickstarted her career in emergency management. TEXSAR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit first responder organization headquartered in Austin, Texas. The organization provides specialized services such as ground search and rescue; flood and swiftwater rescue; K9 search, rescue, and recovery; disaster relief services; wildland fire; aerial search; UAV support; and dive team operations. TEXSAR’s services are free to requesting agencies and are staffed by volunteers who are trained professionals in their fields. Learn more at texsar.org
