A Perfect Impression

Brentwood, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,195
  • Serves San Bruno, CA

A renowned wedding photography studio in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been capturing beautiful wedding moments for over two decades. In partnership with Wedgewood, our classically trained photographers and videographers cover around 100 weddings annually. We excel in not just photography but also in coordinating and assisting, ensuring a seamless and memorable wedding day for each couple.

I can't believe the photos we received from our photographers. They are more amazing than we expected. Our photographers were super easy to work with and knew what we wanted without us really telling them. I am a super indecisive person so I told our main photographer, Brie, what I generally wanted to capture, and she took that and delivered ten times over. She took photos that I didn't think about until after our wedding because she somehow knew what I wanted. They give different versions of certain photos so you can decide if you wanted it in black and white or normal or other edits. With our package, we were able to order one canvas print and let me tell you, it took me weeks to find a photo we wanted to use, there were so many to choose from. You will regret NOT choosing a perfect impression for your wedding photography because they are indeed perfect.

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I are so glad we booked Jenna to be our wedding photographer. We knew instantly from our first conversation with her that we would mesh well together. We aren't people who particularly like being photographed normally but she made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She's so down to earth, kind, and fun. Plus she donates a portion of the proceeds from her wedding packages to charity, which is amazing.

Thalia Moshtagh Photography

5.0

San Jose, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry! I’ve shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
Thalia was a great photographer and fun to work with. I am not very comfortable in front of the camera, but she made it feel natural with her different prompts. She has great attention to detail and a good eye. She was very flexible and was quick to adapt when our original photoshoot location wasn’t available. On the night of our wedding (we found out later) that she had hurt her back but still toughed it out and was very professional. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her to others.

Thanks so much for stepping into my world of photography where capturing memories and emotions through the lens of my camera is a true passion. My journey as a photographer began in my teenage years when my Uncle, an avid photographer, sparked my love for the art by showing me the magic of capturing life's moments. With over 100 weddings under my belt as a lead photographer and mentorship from some of the Bay Area's top wedding photographers, I bring a wealth of experience to each and every shoot. My goal is always to produce images that are not just beautiful but also truly authentic.

Awarded Best of Zola
This review is overdue for the amazing Hok. Don’t think twice about hiring him! He and his team will go out of their way to make sure your pictures are everything you’ve dreamed of! We initially did our engagement photos with him at City Hall and those turned out absolutely beautifully – we used them for our website and invites. On wedding day, he and Greg came super early and left super late going above and beyond the hours we hired them for. Hok is such a pleasure to work with – you can tell he really enjoys photographing weddings and exudes such dedication, warmth and humor that it doesn’t make you feel weird at all to be photographed. I would seriously give him more stars if I could. Hire Hok and his team!

Palo Alto, CA

  • Starts at $2,500

I'm not a regular photographer, I'm a cool photographer. Telling stories all up and down the coast of California. This girl (me), is a bomb mom of two trying to teach them to do what they love. As for me, that's telling your story. I've always loved the thought of traveling, observing and telling others stories. That's where you come to play. What's your story? Are you marrying your high school sweetheart? Are you traveling to your favorite place in the world to express your love? Is it just going to be you two? Do you both have a big family? Let me know. I'm here for it!

Awarded Best of Zola
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lani for our images and our experience was absolutely phenomenal. From the first email, to the delivery of our images we have loved how much time and dedication she puts into making sure we are taken care of. Not only does she pour her heart into creating stunning images but she also has executed our vision with so much thought, love, and intention. We are so happy we found Lani and would recommend her 100 times over.

Allan Kuo Photography

Changing Lives With One Click At A Time For me, witnessing a wedding is the greatest honor of being a photographer. Whether in rustic backyards or grand ballrooms, the greatest story is told through the couple and the lens that captures their most powerful moments. I take pride in skill, but most of all, commitment. Some say patience is a virtue; however, commitment transcends time. Commitment to my craft, commitment to honoring the couple, commitment to making their day one to remember. From the Monterey seas to the golden hills of Napa County, I travel to preserve memories.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot recommend Allan highly enough. He was the perfect person to capture my engagement, the greatest day of my life. His work is outstanding. He has an incredible attention to detail and made the entire process seamless and effortless. I appreciate all the direction he gave during the photo shoot. I’ve been around photographers that expect you to know how to pose, and not everyone knows how to do that. With Allan, you’re in the best of hands. You can trust his direction so that the final product is everything you want and more. You should definitely hire him, whatever your photography needs may be!

Sarah Luther Photography

San Jose, CA

  • Starts at $2,000

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Sarah from Sarah Luther Photography. I specialize in weddings, family portraits and event photography. I started Sarah Luther Photography out of a passion for capturing love and emotion through photography. Growing up, my mom would always take tons of family pictures. I was given a camera as a gift when I was 10 years old and haven't been without one since. :)

Sarah and her husband Ori photographed our wedding in July and we couldn't be happier with our photos. They make a great team, professional and easy to work with. Amazing photographers who love what they do and its evident in their photos. We wanted more candid, natural pictures opposed to posed ones. They got so many unexpected moments and memorable shots. From getting ready, to the ceremony, to dancing at the receptions and everything in-between. All without even knowing that they were there taking pictures. We were so happy that we chose Sarah as our photographer and you will too!!! Thank You Sarah and Ori for photographing our wedding!!! Eydie & Rick

San Jose, CA

Obsessed with weddings that FEEL better than they look! I jump in right away to help build out a stress free and relaxed timeline to ensure you truly enjoy your day. With a natural and organic approach to lighting and posing it's important to me that you have images that capture your happiness and all the emotions! Country music, dirt roads, camping, plants and breakfast anytime of day makes my heart happy. I love turning everyday life into an adventure!

Quianna shot my engagement photos and wedding and I could not be happier with my photos and the overall experience! Quianna is an absolute master of her craft and has a serious love for photographing weddings that shines through in every interaction you have with her. My fiancé and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but I guarantee if you were an outsider looking in on our engagement/wedding shoots you would think we had done this a million times before! Quianna does an amazing job of providing direction on how to pose and her positive feedback and exclamations like "magic is happening!" made us feel so comfortable. We couldn't believe we actually had FUN taking so much many pictures and its all thanks to her. I could go on and on about how much I love Quianna and 100% recommend her for any photography needs. You will love your photos and also love her spirit! Thank you again Quianna!

Nice to meet you, I am Sharyce. You are here which means you already know I like to take pictures. But WHY I take pictures is a different story. For nearly a decade I called myself a photographer because I picked up my camera occasionally and made some extra cash here and there. A version of myself now likes to look back and cringe at the photographer from a decade ago. However she (me) set the foundation for my career path today. When I became a mother I found that pictures had much more meaning behind them. Yes, I am going to go into the stereotypical photographers speil about “visual storytelling”.

I wish I could leave 10 stars. Sharyce has a knack for capturing those split second moments that you'll cherish for a lifetime. Her calming and friendly demeanor is exactly what you need to get those honest and emotional photos. I would recommend her to anyone! Stop your search, you've found the talent you're looking for.

Life is full of amazing moments. Moments we want to hang onto tight, moments we want to never forget, moments we want to be able to re-experience anytime. There is a way to do just that - photography. How often have we looked at a photo and the whole memory comes flooding back? How often does a photo make us laugh or cry? When we share photos with others, they want to know more about the moment. We share the stories, and in doing so, we bring them in on the memory too.

Without Angela & James my wedding would have been postponed or cancelled. Angela gave me info to help my wedding possible in the time of COVID. And let me tell you... they are TRULY A BLESSING. The best investment we made for the wedding was photography. I told my husband that was something I would not budge on and I’m glad I didn’t, Angela and James became like friends to us. I text Angela on the holidays and even when my son was born! They pay so much attention to detail that looking back at my photos they captured moments that I didn’t even realize were a part of my wedding. Their turnaround time is remarkable, all the sneak peaks made me want to see more and more and when I got the final photos I was in awe of all of them. Thank you to Angela & James for capturing the beautiful moments of our wedding!!!! Such genuine people and I’m glad that we met them and built a friendship!!!!

My name is Brittani and photography is my ARTlet. Inspired by the constant flow of love and energy of the world, I photograph people who value authenticity and connection. I reside in San Jose, but with the heart of the adventurer, I'm always ready to grab my backpack and go.

Brittani was recommended to us by our planner, Dumi Gordon — and I’m so glad we went with her. From start to finish, Brittani was a consummate processional. She’s communicative, empathetic, and very talented. On the day of she was calm, upbeat, and efficient. Everyone loved working with her, from our wedding party to family and guests. Brittani is especially good at making her subjects look and feel natural- not always an easy feat at a wedding! Her 2nd photographer, Lahni, was also great! We’ve already seen our sneak photos (Brittani sent them ahead of schedule) and they are gorgeous! Can’t wait to see the rest (I know they will be surpass our already high expectations).

My (now) husband and I had a huge wedding planned in September, and as the date was getting closer, we were very stressed and overwhelmed. We were torn because we have big families and wanted them all there, but I started to realize I felt like this huge wedding was taking away from this feeling special to me. So about two months before the big day, we decided we wanted to elope first, just the two of us, at our favorite nature spot. Not only was Dani able to accommodate us on short notice, she also helped us to find an officiant, and was helpful with other ideas and recommendations -- which was a HUGE help to me amongst the chaos. Dani is just absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful for her. She was calm and patient throughout the whole process. She is such a pleasure to be around and she shared in our excitement with planning and on the day of our elopement. She was so helpful the entire day. She went on a pretty far walk with us to our special spot, taking photos along the way, and she helped to make us feel comfortable as she coached us through poses. The photos she captured us were absolutely STUNNING. I really love how the mood of her photos and how she captures the light of the sun so beautifully. She was also patient and loving with my dog who was there with us and got some great shots of him too. :) I am so incredibly happy with this experience. If I ever need a photographer for anything else in my life, I am 100% going with Dani. Thank you!!!

Ledd Lens LLC, Photo and Film

Miami, FL
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $849
  • Serves San Bruno, CA

We are traveling wedding photographer and videographer. For 2024, we have 70+ weddings booked in 21 different states. Our shooting style is photojournalistic, natural, CINEMATIC to traditional. Our editing and style depends. Very easygoing and flexible depending on the client's preference. Our team is dedicated in delivering memories.

We decided to do a last minute baby moon in the Miami area. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to get a photoshoot. However, I was a bit worried about finding a photographer on short notice, especially between Christmas and New Years. I reached out to several photographers and Ledd Lens was the only company that promptly responded, replying to me within ten minutes, From the very start of our conversation, Andre was exceptionally professional, responsive, and approachable. He was very flexible with my last minute request and accommodating to my asks. I knew right away that he would be a fantastic choice. When the day came the weather did not cooperate and Andre was able to flex his schedule to a time that was not rainy, which was much appreciated. He assured me that this would be a positive experience regardless of the weather. And the photo shoot went fantastic! His ability to choreograph and capture a scene is unparalleled. You could feel the enthusiasm and passion he has for his work, and that is reflected in the final product. Andre did a great job of quickly editing and delivering the photos. We absolutely love how they turned out and cannot recommend Andre and Ledd Lens enough!

In the off chance you're booking at a Northern CA Wedgewood venue, I have hundreds of hours of experience at each of their venues and work very closely with the everyone of the staff at Wedgewood.

My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hannah was so amazing from start to finish. She made both me and my husband feel so at ease during our initial engagement shoot. We are not photo people, so we felt super awkward at first, but Hannah was able to get us laughing right away and the photos came out amazing. As we approached our wedding day, Hannah ensured she reached out to touch base and walk us through everything we would need for the day of. I was blown away by her organization. The day of was perfect. Both her and her assistant, AJ, were the perfect people to shoot our day. We had a issues (i misplaced a few items that needed to be shot) and Hannah ensured me to not worry and was able to get everything we needed. The boys were raving about AJ when they arrived at the venue. Hannah was able to get every single photo we requested and I am so happy with how they turned out. By the end, we really felt like Hannah was a good friend who happened to be our photographer. I cannot recommend Hannah enough for any bride to be.

Lauren and Jamie here. Hi! We love all love. We’re down to earth, creatively driven, ready for beautiful adventures, and in this business for the moments. We're so excited to hear about your wedding plans and to start chatting-- we'll do our best to get back to you within 24 hours. A great way to start getting to know us is over on Instagram where we post and share behind the scenes on stories almost daily: @eicharphotography Head to our website to see our images in full res and to stalk us some more: www.eicharphotography.com Looking forward to your email!

I started looking for photographers after realizing that our nighttime, entirely virtual ceremony (thanks Covid) wouldn't be conducive to good photos and booked her for wedding portraits before the ceremony. After having gotten our pictures back, I'm am so happy and relieved I trusted my gut with them. Not only did Lauren scout out and help us find locations that would work in our extremely limited time frame (I can't say enough about how awesome she was for finding spots based on our desired background + helping us find niche parking spots on google maps), but she made us feel so comfortable and confident. Throughout the photoshoot she was exceedingly positive and encouraging, and my husband and I left feeling like rockstars. She paid attention to our good/bad angles - she kept directing us to do things during the shoot (like crack jokes, switch sides, etc) that saved us from our less photogenic tendencies. She was also highly professional, diffusing a couple of awkward situations with people in our shoot locations and setting a timer to make sure we got back to start our ceremony on time. The pictures largely speak for themselves though. My husband and I are notoriously bad at having photos taken and I was really nervous about having only a few good ones to choose from. I'm still surprised that I've only been able to narrow my favorites down to 80 pictures! I loved the types of shots she took, which were a great blend of up-close moments and landscape shots. I also had a few "props", like a bouquet and dupatta, and she was great at figuring out when to add/remove them from a shot. I feel like the editing style is good balance of modern and classic, and I have no worries about these pictures aging badly. I could go on forever, but coming from a person who was sincerely worried that she was incapable of having a good photo taken, I can't recommend Eichar photography highly enough

If you would have known me growing up, you would have been surprised if I didn’t become a photographer! I fell in love with photography after spending countless hours in the darkroom. Since 2008, I have been working professionally in the photography industry and have shot over 300 weddings and numerous other assignments in almost every genre of photography. Why Weddings? I love problem solving and puzzles, and I’m always up for a good challenge. For me, a wedding is a day full of all of the things that I love. Trust me to help fix any strands of hair that get in your face, straighten out your outfits, help you pose, and encourage you to enjoy this momentous day.

Booking with Tooney for our engagement shoot was one of the best decisions my fiancé and I made during our wedding planning journey. Her communication and accommodations brought our dream engagement photoshoot to life. After witnessing what she created, we promptly booked her for our wedding. Tooney also served as an excellent hype-person. As a somewhat reserved couple, she boosted our confidence and continuously hyped up both my partner and me, bringing out the best in each of us in our photos. I'm really excited for her to capture our dream wedding this December. Thank you Tooney!

Awarded Best of Zola
We couldn't imagine having a better photographer for our wedding than Russ. He's such a professional, took absolutely stunning photos for us, and got the photos back to us lightning fast. If he's available for your date, book him fast before he's taken! We had previously used Russ for our engagement photoshoot at SF MOMA and loved the way the photos came out. With the pandemic making a full wedding tricky, we chose to switch to a micro-wedding, with a few onsite guests and more on Zoom, down in southern California (Malibu) and Russ agreed to drive down from the Bay Area to shoot it for us. He arrived early and covid safe in an N95 mask. He's great at putting you at ease all day. We also love that he mostly uses a photojournalistic/candid style that documents everything but doesn't get in the way of your wedding with lots of distractions and staged photos. He takes colorful and sharp photos that really capture the moment and make you look great and feel like a moviestar.

I'm a Bay Area native with over 12 years in the commercial photography realm. I got my start on the beaches of Los Angeles back in 2012 shooting commercial swimwear campaigns for some of the best designers in swim and fashion. That opened the door to countless opportunities with modeling agencies, reality television, and fashion design. In 2018 I made the move back up north to San Francisco where I grew up. With a wide network of friends and family up here, I found myself catapulted into the Wedding and Elopement industry - and absolutely loved it! I'm honored when I get to be a part of one of the best days of a couple's life together.

She flew out to Washington to take our engagement photos at the Olympic National Park and the entire day was one of my favorite memories. Not to mention she sent me sneak peeks of the photos within a couple of hours - incredible editing skills and extremely fast service. I'm going to cherish these photos forever and we are SO excited to have her as our wedding photographer in June. Thank you for everything, Sarah!

My family used to complain about the 100's of pictures I captured and how many rolls of film I used. Now, I look back at pictures from 10+ years ago, and see the beauty of "stopping time" in photos and keeping them forever. I see how it brings happiness to the people around me and myself. Nothing makes me happier than people looking back at precious memories. I can't wait to extend this experience to you and create an everlasting memory that you can carry for years to follow.

Are you frustrated with combing through page after page of the same old cliche'd wedding photos? Looking for something classic and timeless but with a bit of an edge? We got you. I've been creating wedding day memories for over a decade now. New Orleans. Chicago. Minneapolis. The PNW. NYC. We travel all over this country, and even internationally, when the right opportunity presents itself, documenting love stories for our amazing couples. Our goal with each new wedding, is not to be just good or “good enough”--the goal is to be world-class, one of the top wedding photography teams in the world. Each couple helps us accomplish this.

I haaaate having my photo taken. I was super anxious about the whole process going into it. It takes a certain amount of trust to let someone photograph you... Jay and his Bellocq team were A from start to finish. We were blown away by A) the sheer amount of photos given back (they don't cap their packages at certain photo counts) and B) how seamlessly the entire collection flowed together from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be re-booking them for our family photos (first baby on the way!!!) in the future. Jay is incredibly kind and fun to be around, and just puts you at ease. That is the first thing you'll notice when you meet. Can't recommend Bellocq enough!!!

We help outdoorsy lovers get married in beautiful outdoor venues provided by Mother Nature herself. Our couples have the wedding of their lifetime doing things that matter to them with their closest family and friends. We create inexpensive intimate ceremonies in expansive settings in the woods, river canyons, mountain ridges, deserts, or beaches. We give couples an opportunity to create their own ceremonies and trail-blaze their own traditions as they begin their Forever Endeavor Together. And we document it all with stunning, bold, crystal clear photographs that are a reverie both in nature and love.

Our life together has been an adventure. I knew I wanted something special to encapsulate the essence of us for our 10 year vow renewal. Natural Unions' photography was perfect. The day was an adventure itself. They were flexible with our sporadic nature and changing weather. We went to many locations to find the Goldilocks of what we were looking for. When we verbalized our commitment to each other it was in the serenity of nature. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and ones we will cherish for the rest of life’s adventure together.

Kaitlyn was an incredible photographer to work with! We did 2 engagement photoshoot sessions with her, which were both so fun!! My husband was dreading the photography most, out of all parts of “wedding planning.” But Kaitlyn was able to make him feel relaxed and comfortable so that he actually enjoyed himself! And he actually loves the way he looks in the photos! (He usually hates having his photo taken and the way he photographs.) Kaitlyn was able to capture our silliness, laughter, and genuine happiness in the candid photos which is exactly the look and feel I was hoping for in our photos! (I’m personally not a fan of the stiff posed or moody photos.) Our second engagement shoot also included our dog, which was fantastic! Not only was Kaitlyn great to work with on wedding day and the 2 engagement shoots, she was also a great resource for planning the logistics and timeline of the wedding day. She had great input of the flow of the entire day, which was something I had completely overlooked. Most importantly, Kaitlyn was very professional the entire time. We also gave Kaitlyn the added task of photographing the flower girl nieces (ages 2 & 7 years) and the ring bearer nephew (age 5) who is on the Autism Spectrum. All 3 kiddos still talk months later about how they had so much fun at the wedding! And Kaitlyn was able to capture them all smiling! Photographing dogs and kids is always difficult to ask for, but the photos of our smiling nephew on our wedding day made the parents and grandparents cry tears of joy! It’s rare to catch this kid smiling! We loved working with Kaitlyn, and we can’t wait to do more photoshoots together in the future!

Hey future newlyweds! I'm Jarrod, a wedding photographer that specializes in story telling. Tired of all the bright, overposed, cookie cutter sh*t you keep seeing? Let's create wedding images with real emotion, story, and intention to them. I know being in front of the camera can be awkward. That's why I choose not to pose couples, but instead prompt you to do something like "take off your shoes and run across the field" or " get inside the car and kiss everywhere except the lips". These prompts will help you feel comfortable and also help create candid images. Check out my website for more info :)

Jarrod and his wife, Taylor, are truly a dream to work with! My husband and I really wanted some simple engagement photos taken, but were reluctant because we’re not totally comfortable in front of the camera and didn’t want the poses/photos to look cheesy. Taylor gave us plenty of suggestions to pose us naturally and kept us laughing which put us at ease immediately. Jarrod was such a professional and really worked every angle and background to make it look like we spent an entire day shooting. The editing was super crisp and clean and the photos came back incredibly quickly. They far exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank them enough for giving us beautiful, lasting memories from such an important time in our lives. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

With Misha, I found exactly that!! For our engagement shoot, my husband and I had a vision to do our pictures with two of our favorite things: beer and redwood trees. Misha made our dreams come to a reality and was so helpful in finding a time when the lighting would work with both locations! And if wedding planning isn't already overwhelming enough, we had to cancel our big summer wedding due to COVID and switched to a backyard micro-wedding. Misha was extremely supportive and flexible the entire time! She helped me schedule our new mini wedding to a time that would work for lighting in my husband's parent's backyard, so we could get some killer golden hour shots! Side note: she also helped me get out makeup stains that ended up on my dress during our ceremony haha she can do it all! So thankful Misha was by our side during our engagement season and wedding ceremony! We cannot wait to work with her again for our (hopefully) 2021 wedding reception! :)

Hi there! My name is Kelsey and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Colorado-based wedding and elopement photographer, and I shoot everywhere from Europe to locally in Denver! I work with my clients to create memories that last beyond their wedding day, and deliver photos that capture the fun, romantic and timeless moments so you can re-live them for years to come.

Jamaal produces timeless visuals and agencies across the conduits of creative genres, exploring the roots of the emotions at the core of us all.

Awarded Best of Zola
I initially had first hand experience with Jamaal's work while being in a good friend's wedding last year. A this wedding Jamaal was great. He paid attention to detail, was prompt and on time, didn't need to be told to capture certain moments, etc. When it came time for my big day, I knew I had the perfect person in mind. My wife and I decided to go the conservative route and have a small wedding w/ reception dinner at a restaurant. However, based on our wedding photo sneak peaks that Jamaal provided after; you would think it was a bigger wedding that what it actually was! Which is exactly what we wanted. He captured every moment perfect. My wife and I are happy to have worked with J. and hope to use him in the future for whatever occasion we have coming up next! Thank you again J!

I am an artist and a hopeless romantic. For me, taking photos has always been a way to not only express myself but to connect with the people around me. Documenting life and love has become second nature to me over the last 5 years as a wedding photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
Dominic is a true gem! My fiance, (now husband) and I are timid in front of the camera but Dominic was able to capture the best of us anyways. We first did an engagement shoot with him where he braved the storms and wind with us to complete some amazing photos. He was able to make us feel so comfortable and capture all the right moments to bring to life our love on film. Shooting at the wedding was even more incredible. On a day that is already hectic and full of nerves, Dominic brought the calm and the fun as we shot all our photos throughout the night. His patience, humor, creativity, and amazing eye made the experience absolutely wonderful! I can't recommend him enough! HIRE HIM!

Vincent Po Photography

San Francisco, CA
  • Photojournalistic style

Oklahoma raised, Princeton educated, and founder of Portrait of a Young Couple, documenting how couples of all backgrounds and identities across the world live and love. I'd love to be a part of helping to capture you and your partner's love.

The Experience - My husband and I are both pretty camera shy, so it was really important for us to find someone we felt comfortable with. Vincent managed to win over my introverted husband in a surprisingly short period of time, and was easy to talk to about what we were looking for. Vincent was helpful in guiding us through poses for our couple portraits and also impressed us with how he made our friends and family comfortable throughout the day. The Photos - We wanted lovely photos that we could treasure, but we didn’t want all of the pictures to come out overly filtered or washed out. Vincent’s photography stood out to us because it feels authentic and timeless at the same time. He got the previews and photos back to us in a timely fashion after the wedding, and we were thrilled with how the pictures came out. There was one photo that we wanted something small photoshopped out of the background, and Vincent was accommodating in making that edit that we requested after receiving the photos. The Communication - With so much going on right before the wedding, it was helpful that Vincent checked in on us for things he needed a couple months ahead of time. This helped us know what to figure out and gave us buffer if we were late on getting back to him. He was always quick to respond to our questions, and as mentioned earlier, he was great at communicating after the event as well. Overall if you can get on Vincent’s calendar, I’d happily recommend our wedding photographer to anyone

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

Becky has shot photos of every single important event in my adult life and we are always SO happy with the result! She is amazing at what she does, from my wedding to baby shower to maternity photos to family photos with a 1 year old! Her photos are flawless and edited beautifully. She brings out the best in everyone when she shoots and makes you feel so comfortable. We recently had to move out of state and had to go to another local photographer and it was a nightmare, for the first time we didn’t get to shoot with Becky and we missed you terribly! Consider yourself lucky if you can ever shoot with Becky G!

My professional background was cultivated in the field of architecture and design. But around 2010, my obsession with photography overcame my passion for architecture and I changed course. Through years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve developed a genuine love and appreciation for these emotional events. To me, weddings are emotionally-charged, symbolic celebrations. They often inspire pure expressions, words and feelings from the couple and their family and friends.

Awarded Best of Zola
We found Duy while doing the rounds looking for wedding photographers, and after the fact, I'm confident we found the best person for the job. What I'm most impressed with is the vision he brought to the event based on the time of year, dress code, venues, etc. His direction and attention to detail showed through in the final product, and he was great at listening to one of our half-baked ideas and making it work! Beyond the pictures, Duy's calming presence was helpful throughout the whole experience, from the engagement shoot to the wedding. He's a great communicator and we felt like he was on our team throughout the whole experience. We always felt heard and truly hope to work with him again. Last but certainly not least, he was priced competitively and on the lower end compared to some of the other quotes we received.

WE'RE MARIA AND RICARDO, WE ARE HUSBAND AND WIFE AND THE HEART BEHIND THE PICTURES. WE ARE BASED IN NYC AND TAKE WEDDING COMISSIONS ALL AROUND THE US AND ABROAD BUT WE ARE ORIGINALLY FROM SPAIN AND PUERTO RICO MARIA IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER, ALL THE IMAGES ARE TAKEN AND EDITED BY HER. RICARDO IS YOUR VIDEOGRAPHER AND RUNS THE BUSINESS AND MAKES SURE EVERYTHING GOES AS IT SHOULD. THERE IS A LOT GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES.OUR PHOTOGRAPHY IS BOLD & CREATIVE, AIMING TO TELL STORIES AND DOCUMENT THE REAL MOMENTS. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHOOT A FEW FORMALS AND WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM SESSIONS.

This review is massively long overdue (we got married 5/20/2022), but I absolutely have to write one. Maria and Ricky are hands down the BEST people and we could not have been luckier to have the pleasure of them capturing our wedding! They got exactly the vibes we wanted, all the shots we wanted, were so easy to communicate with, and are just the nicest and most fun people! We did our engagement shoot with them in NYC and the photos could not have been any better. We communicated the types of shots we were looking for and, since they were living there, they were able to give us the best tips for location and shots! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined. We got the best posed shots and the absolute best candid shots. We barely even realized the were photographing/taking video of us during the reception which we loved, but we also just loved their presence. They were so much fun and added to the party, they were dancing while shooting and made everyone so happy and comfortable. Our guests still talk about them and how awesome they are! Our video is breathtaking, we are taken back to the day every time we watching and it always brings us to tears. The photos are incredible; we constantly look through our photos and love displaying them in our home to look at all the time. We have since referred several people to them because we would love everyone to have the same experience we had!

Artistic storytelling for the fun, kind and adventurous. Hi friend! :) I'm your neighborhood artist, goofy empath, & lover of dogs and human beans. (Name is pronounced Hasmeen, kinda like jalapeño) My goal is to be a source of joy and vulnerability in your life while helping you feel grounded on your big day and ~even more~ grateful for the life you live and the love you choose.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I booked Jazmin for our fall wedding in the panhandle of Texas. Right from the start, she was such a joy to work with! Between our first video call to make sure we were a good fit, doing her online questionnaire (which was a lot of fun), and the call closer to the big day where Jazmin helped my coordinator and I with the photography timeline, Jazmin was helpful, cheerful, and made me feel so at ease. Booking her for our wedding was the easiest choice I’d made all year! This was our first time having professional pictures taken and we are both a bit awkward in front of the camera but we did not feel awkward with Jazmin. On our wedding day, Jazmin and her partner/second shooter were punctual, organized, and just plain fun to have around! To quote my husband; “anytime we need a photographer for anything, you know we can only work with them.” Importing Jazmin from San Francisco for our DIY Texas vineyard wedding was a no brainer for us, and we’d book her again in a heart beat!

HI! I am Anastasia (she/her), your Northern California elopement and wedding photographer and so much more. My passion for photography began when I was a child. It started as a hobby when I fell in love with photographing families and babies. Over the years I realized I adore documenting couples, in all stages of their relationships. I know they say we should specialize in one type of photography, but I am not sure I can ever do that. I love to create and I get bored with only doing one thing.

Anastasia was simply amazing to work with. She values her customers and she absolutely takes pride in her work. Anastasia was communicative with us from beginning to end and we valued Anastasia’s honest and knowledgable feedback about our venues (we ultimately dodged a bullet with our first selected venue). We were highly impressed that she provided us our sample gallery in record time! And we received our full gallery in the promised timeframe. We hope to do a couples session with her when we return the Monterey area!

Hi, I'm Veronica, a wedding and adventure elopement photographer who's lucky enough to have documented important moments like your wedding day for the past three years. Before going full-time into this business last year, I was in a totally different field for my day job! I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and worked as a systems engineer at Boeing until I quit to put all my time and energy into my true passion - this biz! I love using my creative and technical skills to pause the perfect moments to capture all the emotions, warmth, color, and movement that will bring back that memory in the years to come!

Veronica was our wedding photographer, and we just loved working with her! She's an absolute delight and her photos are amazing. During our engagement shoot, she was incredibly personable and had a great way of making us do these silly dynamic poses that ultimately got us laughing at ourselves. This came out as spontaneous joy-filled candids that just so purely capture how we want to remember these moments. In terms of the actual photography, she comes from an aerospace engineering background, so she has a very technical approach to her work in addition to being overall great to work with. On our actual wedding day, it felt like she blended in as part of the wedding party - she was fun to hang out with and also helped with various odds and ends while getting ready! Everything felt seamless and professional, but also felt like having an extra friend! Highly recommend Veronica - she is such a gem and we are in love with her photography.

As a provider of entertainment for large events, you work with many different planners, photographers, bands, florists, etc. The quality of the event depends on the quality of the people you hire. Photographs are one thing, but what people don't see is how a photographer can set a tone or a level of comfort that carries through the event team and event. Working with Olivia on multiple jobs were some of my favorite experiences because not only were the photos exceptional, the way she guided and calmed the guests and team makes for an enjoyable experience all around. We absolutely loved her photography style when we first came across her as a preferred vendor of our wedding venue (Beltane Ranch), but knew that we also needed to love HER if we were to spend the majority of our special day with her by our side. Luckily, from the moment we had our first chat with Tara, we knew she'd be perfect for us. Our engagement photo shoot at the Sutro Baths in San Francisco was the perfect way to get to know Tara's style and she helped us bring our vision to life in the shoot. Once we got to the wedding day, we completely trusted Tara to nail it - and, boy, did she deliver! She was SO efficient and organized. It was certainly a huge benefit that she knew our venue, but I am certain she would have been just as impressive in any environment. One of the best aspects of hiring Tara, ultimately, is her art. Her photography is truly a work of art. She has an incredible eye and managed to make two very awkward gals (my wife and I) feel incredibly comfortable behind the camera. We are just enamored with the photos she took and will cherish them for a lifetime. The cherry on top of all of it was that she turned around our photos within 1 week of the wedding! We received the digital album during our honeymoon and it was so fun to reminisce while still celebrating. Thank you for everything, Tara!

We used Brianna Noelle Photography for our wedding she was professional and understanding. She appeared at our civil ceremony downtown SF and then traveled to our reception. We received previews quickly, within days. We received the full album and then some within the timeframe she provided. If I had any questions or requests she addressed them. It was a pleasure working with her and highly recommend.

Hey! We're Alyssa + Alec husband and wife wedding + elopement photographers. Located in Southern California serving ALL couples around the United States. We shoot with intention; for our couples not for our portfolio, creating timeless memories you can relive and relive for the years to come. We work closely with our couples to guarantee a wedding album they've always dreamt of.

We absolutely LOVED having Alyssa and her husband be our wedding photographers! From the moment we met her at our engagement shoot we new we had made the right choice. Even though I truly hate being the center of attention and getting my pictures taken, Alyssa made us feel so comfortable so that we could enjoy the day and be in the moment. Leading up to the wedding, she was super responsive to all my questions and when the big day came along everything went so smoothly. Alyssa even fixed my makeup when I cried it all off after the ceremony!! We love our pictures so much. They capture the day perfectly and I don’t think anyone could have given me the simple outdoorsy/elegant summer camp vibe that I wanted except for her. I couldn’t recommend Alyssa and her husband enough!!

I am so Happy you are here! My name is Alice and I am a portrait and wedding photographer based in Northern Virginia - Maryland - Washington D.C. areas. To me, it has been a privilege to be able to connect with everyone that I had a chance to photograph. My goal is to capture those raw, honest, and authentic emotions so that twenty years from now, you can look back on these photos and still remember exactly how that moment felt. I hope we share the same goal and that I am the photographer you are looking for.

Hiring Alice as our wedding photographer was one of our best planning decisions we made! From our first call with her we knew she fit our personalities so well and would capture the emotions and colors of a traditional Indian wedding better than anyone else could. She was by my side every step of the way on the wedding day and truly made the day brighter with her smile and capturing my quirky personality! I cannot wait to work with her again.

Want a trusted, unobtrusive, thoughtful pro photographer friend on your wedding day? Someone to capture the way the wedding FEELS as well as it looks. A little direction during portrait time, a little leadership during family portraits, and near invisibility all other times? I think you’re onto something. I’m in. What's exciting? What’s important? What's confusing? Let’s sit down for a discovery meeting and I’ll ask, listen, lay out options, and share suggestions. I want to learn about you. I'm on your team 100% before, during, and after your wedding. Bonus: I've shot 400+ practice weddings before yours and I absolutely LOVE what I do!

We found Olivia to be a wonderful, skilled photographer! Her eye for composition is creative, yet she demonstrated the connectiveness of us as a couple. The one thing that stands out is how Olivia totally put us at ease by using innovative ways to relax us as we were posing. She had us, as we were holding a position close to each other, to tell each other 3 things we love and appreciate about each other. This of course brought smiles and was totally relaxing and sincere. She made us so relaxed and comfortable . As a result , the photos look completely natural. We actually became engaged the afternoon, immediately after these photos were taken. She made the moment so relaxing and magical. It was serendipity. I recommend her highly, and will be spreading the word amongst my friends and contacts. We will treasure these photos forever.

My style is natural and photojournalistic. I love capturing unscripted moments because those are the type of photos that tell a richer story of your day. Working with me means nothing overly posed, nothing awkward, nothing that doesn't feel like YOU. While we'll spend some time doing portraits, my priority is for you to be present and enjoy your wedding day. I like to shoot discreetly with an emphasis on candids so from the moment you first see each other to that last hilarious toast, you’ll be relaxed and focused on one another and not even noticed I’m there.

We cannot recommend Vivian highly enough for your wedding photography! We had multiple guests compliment her professionalism and stealthiness on the day of the wedding. Vivian’s calm demeanor was MUCH appreciated on the hectic wedding day. She is a superstar. She made sure we didn’t fall behind with our timeline even though we had requested a large number of portraits. Even though we’re a bit camera awkward Vivian was great at posing us and guests for shots. But where Vivian really shines is all of the candid shots that capture the pure joy and excitement of the day! She was so fast to provide us with our wedding photos, and we love looking back at them. The photos are framed well, have true to life coloring, and are just beautiful.

For some unknown reason I have loved weddings since I was a kid. That’s the first thing. But then… I got married. And that is indescribable. So… if you happen to be here because you have met someone special, and you are making moves, CONGRATULATIONS! You really are in for the ride of a lifetime. So… my first photos? Yup. They were from a wedding! Unfortunately they took the human knee as their subject because I was short, because I was five years old. One auspicious day I brought a camera to a friends’ wedding. I partied. I had a fabulous time. Afterwards they told me I should have said something, my photos were better than the hired pro.

We hired Paul for our San Francisco wedding and it was easily one of the best decisions we made. In addition to beautifully (and creatively) capturing the energy and excitement of the day, Paul was also an absolutely pleasure to work with at ever step of the way. Our wedding was in San Francisco this past August and had approximately 65 people in attendance. To say that we had high expectations for our wedding photographer was an understatement: we wanted someone who would be able to capture the dynamic energy and emotion of our big day in a natural, joyful way. I am happy to say that Paul exceeded all of our expectations and then some. We initially reached out to Paul in February through his website and we scheduled an introductory phone call. At that time I was chatting with a few different photographers in the Bay Area but was impressed at Paul's thoughtful questions regarding our vision of big day as well as the logistical considerations (venue locations, lighting , size, etc). From our first meeting at his lovely home, Paul was kind, thoughtful, considerate which made us feel like we were in good hands and helped put us at ease during the craziness of the planning. He asked us to consider which moments would be most important to our wedding and helped us think through the logistics of the day. Paul was also helpful in planning some of the big day itself: we had scheduled a city tour with our guests to occur between the ceremony and reception but were unsure where to go in the city. He recommended locations that would be both enjoyable for our guests and would make good backdrops for photos. In addition to the city tour, the day itself had a lot of moving parts which could have been really challenging to photograph (indoor ceremony in City Hall, outdoor brass band parade in full sunlight, indoor reception with low lighting in small antique store). Paul and his second shooter were well prepared and able to shot gorgeous photos in every location. Paul was also very mindful of which moments would be most meaningful to us. For example, we had mentioned that we specifically wanted lots of dancing photos from the reception and so Paul made sure a remote flash lighting system was set up in the reception venue which made for some fantastic dance floor shots. We had also said that we wanted to make sure we had a lot of candid photos of our friends of family and so Paul made sure to mingle among our guests, putting them at ease and getting natural, candid photos of our loved ones. After the wedding, Paul was able to send us our sneak peaks only after 24 hours (!) and the full gallery a short time after that. At this point, I was already very impressed but what happened after that really blew me away: Paul emailed me a few weeks after the wedding to me to ask if he could photograph some details from the wedding that he wasn't able to get on the big day (handkerchiefs from the brass band parade, wedding invitations, etc). He told me that he felt that those details were important in telling the story of our wedding and he wanted to make sure they were captured. I realize that it would've been easy for Paul to simply send the photos he already had but the fact that he found it was important to capture all the small details really speaks to his thoughtfulness, professionalism and excellence. We can't thank you enough, Paul!
