Are you frustrated with combing through page after page of the same old cliche'd wedding photos? Looking for something classic and timeless but with a bit of an edge? We got you. I've been creating wedding day memories for over a decade now. New Orleans. Chicago. Minneapolis. The PNW. NYC. We travel all over this country, and even internationally, when the right opportunity presents itself, documenting love stories for our amazing couples. Our goal with each new wedding, is not to be just good or “good enough”--the goal is to be world-class, one of the top wedding photography teams in the world. Each couple helps us accomplish this.

We get it. You've probably looked through a hundred portfolios by now, scrolling over and over, and in the end they all kind of look the same. Your love is unique and so are you.     I haaaate having my photo taken. I was super anxious about the whole process going into it. It takes a certain amount of trust to let someone photograph you... Jay and his Bellocq team were A from start to finish. We were blown away by A) the sheer amount of photos given back (they don't cap their packages at certain photo counts) and B) how seamlessly the entire collection flowed together from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be re-booking them for our family photos (first baby on the way!!!) in the future. Jay is incredibly kind and fun to be around, and just puts you at ease. That is the first thing you'll notice when you meet. Can't recommend Bellocq enough!!!

    J. was fantastic. He was like a ghost in the crowd during the wedding and caught such amazing moments throughout the event. As the bride, there was so much going on and I didn't have to direct J. at all, he just flowed through the preparation, ceremony and party with ease and captured everything. He also had some fabulous ideas for posed pictures post ceremony. From the start I knew he would be great because he contacted me immediately after I sent a request to him and actually PICKED UP THE PHONE to speak in person. Crucial in my book! We were absolutely impressed with his professionalism and the pictures are beyond even "a thousand words". We couldn't be happier. Thank you J. and the Rock n' Roll Wedding Club for capturing a once in a lifetime event that we will treasure forever. I will highly recommend you to anyone I know!

    Jason is incredible. He is a talented photographer and storyteller, and a great business person to boot! He is exactly who you want your friends and family to interact with your wedding day. I would highly recommend him to any person looking to capture the essence of their wedding day and of their beloved family and friends. Regarding the business perspective: my partner and I planned our wedding from afar and from the start Jason was responsive and easy to work with. I admire that he didn’t pressure us on hurrying to book the way other photographers did and he made the time to connect with us. He was also able to process photos quickly and with high quality. Regarding the photos: we purchased his engagement and wedding day package and I could not be happier and think he was priced very competitively. My partner and I had previously had engagement photos done with another vendor and their quality was not even comparable to Jason’s. Because of Jason’s photo journalistic nature and our desire to avoid a lot of staged poses Jason built a beautiful story of us and our engagement and wedding day. His photos are striking, surprising, and beautiful. He captured heartfelt moments that I did not see during our wedding, too. Our friends and family are in love with the photos that we have shared with them and we are so honored to have had Jason capture our wedding day. I cannot wait to look at these photos for years to come and relive our wedding day!

    J was so wonderful to work with and hang out with on our big day! He put the folks who dread photos at ease and helped us along, but also allowed us to be our natural selves. The moments he captured were so wonderful and we got our photos back so quickly. Communication is top notch. We couldn’t imagine a better photographer for our wedding & will be keeping in touch - J is a great guy!
