Matron of Honor
ZySeer and Issabella met their sophomore year at Foss High School through a mutual friend. Through many years of sleepovers, birthdays, breakups (both friendship and relationship), good times and bad, Issabella has been the glue that has kept ZySeer together, even when she thought pieces of herself were lost forever. Issabella is set to marry her fiancé in May of 2025, where ZySeer will be standing by her side as her Maid of Honor. And ZySeer is beyond grateful that she was willing to accept the invitation to return the favor as her Matron of Honor, just 5 months later.
Maid of Honor
ZySeer and Dominique met when ZySeer moved to Tucson and they have been inseparable since. They bonded over their love for sports (although Dominique’s sports knowledge supersedes ZySeer’s, or anyone else’s for that matter, by a lifetime!!), their passion for women’s rights, and the core value of leading with empathy. Dominique has added an invaluable amount of insight and compassion in ZySeer’s life and she is truly one of a kind. Dominique and her mom, Joy, very easily became a part of ZySeer’s chosen family and almost overnight Tucson didn’t seem so lonely anymore. Since day one they have spent every birthday and holiday together and have built a sisterhood of traditions that will only get richer as life goes on.
Bridesmaid
Where do we begin with Elizabeth?! ZySeer and Elizabeth also met sophomore year at Foss High School, when Elizabeth tried out for cheer. After she made the team, ZySeer and Elizabeth spent many sleepless nights choreographing routines, learning new cheers and in turn, disrupting her mom's sleep (sorry Tiffany!) And little did they know this shared interest and passion transformed into a friendship that we can confidently say will last a lifetime. ZySeer and Elizabeth have the type of friendship where when you know each other so well, all it takes is a look across the room to know what each other is thinking. Elizabeth is a woman with a heart of gold and a fierce protector of the people she loves. If you ever get a chance to have a friend like Elizabeth, hold them tight and thank them for their friendship because they deserve it.
Bridesmaid
ZySeer and Cayla met in 6th grade in band class and although they didn’t really get close until years later, God placed Cayla in ZySeer’s life when she would understand and value their friendship in away she wouldn’t have been able to in 6th grade. But once they realized how well they meshed together personality wise, they were connected at the hip! Family vacations from Hawaii to Vegas, shared traditions of eating Grandma Gwen’s Gumbo, Costco runs & shopping trips with Tammy (thanks Tammy!) and many many birthday sleepovers, it was such an honor and blessing for ZySeer to spend some of the toughest times with Cayla and her family by her side. Cayla’s willingness to learn from others, ask questions, give advice, or simply just listen when others need an outlet were qualities she has always had and qualities that set her apart from others, even when they were 12. It is such an honor to have her in the bridal party.

ZySeer and Alexa met in Tucson at a bar when Alexa and her best friend Maddie made room for her to sit down. And what was supposed to be a brief stop in for some lunch while ZySeer had some downtime in between her new student orientation at the UoA, turned into a night of bar hopping and memory making (oops. sorry not sorry!) ZySeer knew from the moment she met Alexa, that she was irreplaceable and that she was the type of friend every woman needs in adulthood. She leaves every person better than how she found them, approaches every situation with a positive attitude, and she is simply a breath of fresh air. Everyone who meets Alexa, and has had an opportunity to establish a friendship with her, is a better person because of it. She is the glue that holds friend groups together and her selflessness is a quality that even the most kind hearted people, would admire. ZySeer could not imagine a world where she didn’t have Alexa by her side on her wedding day, as she has been a quintessential part of her life since that fateful day in 2022.
Best Man
The definition of a brother from another mother. Kai and Gabe met freshman year through a mutual friend, thank you Sydney, but truly bonded sophomore year when they inevitably shared a math class together. What started as casual conversations in class quickly grew into late-night talks, shared struggles, and countless moments of laughter that carried us through some of our most defining years. He’s the kind of friend who shows up without being asked, who listens without judgment, and who stands by you when life gets heavy. Through every chapter from graduations, heartbreaks, and milestones he’s been a constant reminder of what true friendship looks like. To this day, I’m grateful that I met someone who continues to shape my life with loyalty, strength, and unwavering support.
Groomsman
Through an unlikely coincidence that turned into a life changing friendship, Kai and Jalen met in the 3rd grade after they both moved to a new state, North Carolina. Jalen coming from New York and Kai coming from Arizona, they immediately shared commonality in being the new kids at school. This transcended further as they were in the same class and even played on the same football team. What started as a simple conversation at recess turned into a lifelong friendship built on laughter, trust, and countless memories. He’s been there through it all—awkward school years, family ups and downs, and the growing pains of life. No matter how much time passes or how far apart life takes us, he’s remained there, always showing up with the same loyalty and heart he had as that kid from way back when. I didn’t just find a friend when I moved—I found a brother for life.

Truly another sibling, Rene and Kai met in high school and became lifelong friends. In the middle of trying to figure out who they were and where they belonged, she became his sister, safe place, and therapist all in one. Rene is someone I could laugh with until we cried, lean on through the toughest moments, and grow beside through every chapter. From late-nights, phone calls, and school dances to heartbreaks, dreams, and all the beautiful chaos in between, she’s been there without fail. She’s more than a best friend—she’s family. No matter how much life changes, she remains a steady, bright presence in it. I’m endlessly grateful for the bond we built as teenagers that only deepened with time, and I know it’s the kind of friendship that will last a lifetime.
Groomsman
God planned this friendship as Kai and Brett met through chance when they were randomly assigned to be roommates in their shared college apartments. What started as courtesy for one another grew into an amazing bond filled with memories and companionship. Living together through the ups and downs of college life, late-night study sessions, shared meals, personal victories, and even the occasional disagreement—created an everlasting friendship that feels more like family. Brett became someone I could count on, laugh with, vent to, and grow alongside. Through every stressful exam, life decision, and spontaneous adventure, Brett was always there as someone to count on and I'm extremely grateful for him.
