What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend Jacksonville International Airport, which is about 35 minutes from the resort. Orlando International Airport or Savannah International Airport are also options, however they require about a 2 hour drive to the resort.

Are children allowed at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. That said, we absolutely don’t want this to limit your travel plans! If you’d like to bring your children along for the weekend, they are more than welcome to join us at the welcome party and other activities—just not the ceremony or reception itself. We’re happy to recommend and help coordinate local babysitting options so you can fully enjoy the celebration with us.

Are there additional accommodations in the area?

Answer

While we’d love for guests to stay with us at the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa, there are also great nearby options for those who prefer something different. We recommend exploring Airbnb and other vacation rentals in the Fernandina Beach area, which offers a variety of homes and condos just a short drive from all of the wedding weekend events.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the Omni Amelia Island Resort and Spa to and from the ceremony and reception at The Ribault Club. If you decide to stay on Omni property, there is a shuttle available throughout the property, including to all bars and restaurants.
