Our Story
We met on May 13, 2023, at a party in the East Village. Zvi cracked one of his signature raunchy jokes, and Olivia burst out laughing—sparking an instant connection. Over the next few weeks, we spent time together as friends, getting to know each other in the dim light of downtown bars. The chemistry was clear, but neither of us wanted to risk disrupting our friend group.
Everything changed on June 22, 2023, at the Young Members Gala at The Met. After a couple of glasses of wine, we lost track of our friends and ended up exploring the museum together, hand-in-hand (for "balance," of course).
As last call was announced, Zvi made the first move and kissed Olivia, officially making us more than just friends. We stepped out into the warm New York night and continued to wander the Upper East Side until 2 AM, both unsure of what the future held but certain that we wanted to take the next step together.
And now, we're getting married.
