Once upon a time a single girl living her best life got a random DM back in 2020 from someone she thought was a fake account on Instagram. The message said “marry me”. Bored and intrigued she opened the message and decided to entertain the scammer, who’s instagram was nothing but modeling photos - hence the scam account vibes - but in the midst of covid and night shift sleep deprivation, she decided to reply “where are you from?” Messages turned into phone calls that turned into face times (where it was determined Anthony was not a creepy 50 year old man living in his moms basement), that turned into months of yapping about music, hunting, working out, family, and everything. One night after a stroll on Caroline Street, Danielle was feeling bold and called Anthony and said “you should fly up here to see me”. The next morning with a pounding headache, she realized Anthony actually did buy a plane ticket for a weekend to come meet her in person. Instant panic set in. But also excitement. Even though all of Danielle’s friends joked about how she was going to end up on the next Netflix documentary. Anthony flew to Albany from Atlanta in January of 2021 and they spent the weekend exploring the Adirondacks, and getting to know each other on a deeper level. What was supposed to be a spontaneous weekend of fun for the plot, was something else, and they both knew they had to stay in each other’s lives. The two spent every month flying back and forth to see each other. From weekends in Blue Ridge GA, to Anthony being held hostage in New York from an emergency appendectomy, to Danielle coming to meet Anthony’s family, they knew they had to be closer to each other. Danielle (secretly) applied to a job local to Anthony and nailed it, so she told him she was moving down south! (Real life sweet home Alabama). Anthony came to New York and they grabbed a Uhaul, all her stuff, including her most prized possession Simba, and made the journey down south. The rest is history. Now living in Florida, with their two dogs Hopper, Peaches, their cat Simba, and their horse Luna, they fill their days with love and laughter. Coffee, gardening, working out, fishing, and just being together. They both cannot wait to celebrate (this very long anticipated day) with all of you.
