It all started on a warm September evening at a baptism event on music row through Music Row Ministries. Alison and Jack were there to support their friends, but little did they know, a new chapter was about to begin. They struck up a conversation, instantly captivated by each other’s love for Jesus. Less than a week later, their paths crossed again at a conference, where their connection deepened. That night, along with Alison’s maid of honor, Presley, and Jack’s best man, Stephen, they grabbed tacos—an ordinary moment that held something extraordinary. As Alison walked away, Jack turned to Stephen and said, “I hope my wife is like that one day.” What started as a friendship soon grew into a love story, and on October 25th, 2023, they started dating.
On December 18th, in the very place where they had been baptized just eight months earlier, Jack got down on one knee with a bible in one hand and a ring in the other and asked Alison to marry him. Without hesitation, she said, “YES, OF COURSE!” The moment was raw, heartfelt, and filled with overwhelming joy. After the proposal, they celebrated with family and their closest friends, surrounded by love and laughter. Every detail of the day was intentional and beautiful, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
After a 10 month engagement, on Saturday, October 4th, Alison and Jack will exchange vows, committing their lives to one another in a celebration of their commitment to Jesus Christ, love, and servanthood. Their wedding will take place at Clos LaChance Winery, a venue deeply intertwined with their paths crossing. It was there, watching songwriter rounds, that Alison first discovered the art of songwriting—a moment that ultimately led her to Nashville, to songwriting, and in time, to Jack. Now, in the very place where this path was set into motion, Alison and Jack will begin the greatest chapter yet, surrounded by the love of their family and friends.
