Aj and Zujey met like most modern love stories.. Aj sent Zujey a DM in April of 2019. They would chat here and there for the next couple of months but nothing serious as they have never met before. It wasn't until October 26, 2019 when Aj heard Zujey would be at the Halloween party he was invited to and knew this was his chance to meet her. Zujey remembers this Halloween party like it was yesterday. She had heard Aj would be there and was interested in finally seeing him. When he walked into the party she swore it was love at first sight. She knew that she had to find a way to talk to him. So she took a risk and made the first move to say hello and introduce herself something she would never normally do. They both said hello and introduced themselves and went about the party. Zujey introducing herself gave Aj the push to ask her on their first date. The date was on 11/10/2019. He took her to a Phoenix Suns game (she actually chose this date). Before the date Zujey had privately made a snapchat story, remembering to specifically remove Aj from seeing, to tell all her friends how nervous and excited she was to be going on a date with Aj. To her mortifying surprise, once Aj had dropped her off at home he had let her know he saw her story and he too was nervous and excited and wanted to continue going on more dates. They then saw each other the next day, and the next day.. By day 5 he had let Zujey they would be together forever and she agreed! A few weeks later it was 11/30/2019 when Aj asked Zujey to be his girl friend. They had been inseparable at this point. Every chance they had they were spending time together. By the next year they had moved out together, still spending every single possible day together. They later went on their first Disney trip together starting their addiction of going as many times as possible a year. This is by far their favorite hobby and they think about going to Disney every day. 2021 then came along and they made the big and best decision to purchase their dog "son" Astro. Astro completes their little family and they are so grateful he is apart of their family and can not imagine a life without him. Now fast forward to 2024.. it was March 24,2024 their very special day. Aj organized a special picnic and photoshoot for them in Malibu, California on the beach. There he proposed to her in front of her best friends, while playing their two favorite love songs: Yellow by Coldplay and Fast car by Luke Combs. This was one of the best days of their lives. They both look forward to making it official and becoming husband and wife in 2025!
