Co-Maid of Honor
Allie and Chloe met in first grade when, on Allie’s first day, Mrs. Moody sat them next to each other. They were moved apart by the end of the day because they wouldn’t stop talking, and they haven’t stopped since. These two have grown up together and experienced all of the highs and lows life brings between 6 and 28; playdates, puberty, graduations, dating, now marriage, and everything in between. From River Edge to North Carolina, they can’t get rid of each other.
Co-Maid of Honor
Katie does not remember when she met Allie as she was simply born but does know she brought quite the disappointment as she wanted to be the “lonely girl” in the family. Thankfully, Allie has gotten past that disappointment and now they’ve been the best pair of thithers! Allie decided Katie finally had a likable enough personality to hang out with! Katie is so thrilled to be a co maid of honor and support her sister as she marries her best friend. (Honorary bestie, because we all know no one trumps your thither for bestie!)
Best Man
Believe it or not, Scott came out of the same women as the groom (pretty incredible they saved all the good genes for the second time around). Do’s and don’ts for the best man: DO: make sure he has a drink in his hand DONT: feed him any form of nuts
Bridesmaid
Allie and Emma met when they were kids because their dads were best friends in college (shoutout Dave and Mike). Long distance was no match for these two— from Oovoo chats to flying to see each other, these two best friends have been by each other sides since the beginning!
Bridesman
Shaun is the younger brother of Allie. They have been besties since Shaun made Allie a big sister and took away her "lonely child" status. Allie first put Shaun in drag at age 2 when she dressed him up as Belle. They shared a love of all things Barbies, American girl, RPDR, Disney, and Broadway Musicals. They love to tell foolish jokes that only they find amusing. Shaun is so happy that his sister found her person. He is so excited to be a part of that special day.
Bridesmaid
Allie and Claire met in 2024 working at WakeMed (who knew one day of training together would turn them into best friends?). Since then, they’ve been together through the extreme ups and downs we so inevitably experience in our 20s- birthdays, family challenges, and the weekly streaming of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Though they have been friends for a short period of time, it feels like they’ve known each other for a lifetime!
Groomsman
Ryan and Ian have known each other for many years, but every year they grow closer and Ian is happy to call Ryan a life long friend. They’ve come from elementary school recess to roommates in college to now living out our sport dreams, hoping they don’t get injured.
Groomsman
Ryan and George met through their better halves, Chloe and Allie, 4 years ago. Since then they’ve bonded over golf, video games, and countless experiences as couples. They share the never-dull-experience of loving Jersey girls. Bruce Springsteen says it best, “Nothing matters in this whole wide world, when you're in love with a Jersey girl”
Groomsman
Ryan and Matt met their freshman year of college, where they bonded over Premier League soccer. Even though he has yet to see Arsenal win the league, he is very happy to watch Ryan and Allie get married.
Groomsman
Ryan and Logan have known each other since kindergarten. They became best friends after discovering we were an unbeatable duo at the Cary Family YMCA foosball table. Decades later, Logan is lucky to still consider Ryan a best friend.
