We first met in 2016 on Plenty of Fish when Samantha was moving to Minnesota from Kentucky. We spent over a month texting and talking on the phone before meeting in person. Jasmine was 6 and Bailey was 5. We dated for about 5 months before calling it quits simply because we were both at different spots in life. We stayed in contact through out the duration of about 8 years, in that time Samantha and the kids moved back to Kentucky, Chad had visited her down there and she visited up here as well, all while remaining friends. In 2024 she decided this is where she belonged and they moved back. When she told him she was moving back their romance rekindled. They moved in together in July of 2024 and have been building a beautiful life and family together. Chad proposed in February of 2026 when they were on vacation in Arizona visiting her family. The gilrs and her parents knew he planned to propose and kept it a secret. He did it at a beautiful lookout spot in the Tucson Mountains called Gates Pass and she immediately said yes!
