Please prepare to dress for rain, sun, winds, heat. The summer is ending and moving slowly into fall around this time of the year. Bring a light jacket, shoes that are durable in any weather, a hat/ poncho to protect yourself from any unexpected rain.
Buchloe is in Baveria - the south of Germany. It is approximately an hour by car/train from Munich, 2-3 hours from the Alps and 2 1/2 hours to Salzberg, Austria.
Munich is the largest city outside of Buchloe. There are other cities and towns you can explore such as Landsberg, Augsberg, Memmingen.
We suggest coming a day or so before the party - to get yourself acclimated to the time change. However, we'll leave it up to your discretion when is the best to book your arrival.
Yes, the train system in Germany is vast. We recommend if you do travel by train, keep an eye on schedules (can be late). Buchloe has a train-station that is a 5 minute walk away from the location of the party.
No, You can come to just the Cake and Coffee (a German Tradition) or just the Reception or Stay for Both! The only thing we ask is to RSVP to whichever you'll be coming, so we can account for enough meals.
We suggest flying into Munich but you're more than welcome to fly into any airport you'd like throughout the country. Please keep an eye on where you fly into and the distance it is to Buchloe, Germany.
We are still working out some details with transportation - we will have updates closer to the time of the party - Stay tuned! However, if you're feeling adventurous and you'll be near a train station, feel free to arrive by train and or car.
