Salmon River Falls
If you didn't know, Zac lost his father in 2018. Salmon River Falls was one of his favorite spots, and it's a spot that means a lot to Zac and his family. We visit here often. Some of our best dates and days out were spent at the falls! It's like a second home. Check it out, but stay away from the edge!!
Denny's
WE LOVE DENNYS! If we are going to sit down anywhere? you BET its Dennys! The pancakes are perfect, the grand slam is iconic, the service is always good and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Some people will tell you its the worst restaurant, we will tell you it's one of the best. If you're feeling it, go grab some!
Selkirk Shores State Park
This is the spot where I knew I had officially fallen deep into love with Zac. We were sitting on the concrete slab over on the left side watching the sun set. We didn't say anything, just sat there for a couple of hours and soaked in the world together. I remember seeing a seagull flying towards the water, and looking over at Zac. In that moment I knew I wanted a life with him. I was a teenage girl who never wanted children or even thought about marriage but that day, I knew I wanted all of those things with him. The man who made me like the color pink again and wear dresses. If you visit, bring a light jacket. In May it can still be really cold down by the water.
