In January 2022, I started my fitness journey during a season of rebuilding myself spiritually, mentally, and physically. On my very first day at the gym, one woman immediately caught my attention — Ms. Parker. She carried herself with quiet confidence and strength. That first workout nearly took me out, but I told myself I couldn’t quit. I had to come back — and I did. Every day after that, I worked out near her, too shy to say a word.
