Our Love Story

From the Gym to the DMs

Parker's POV: We met at the gym, two people focused on our own journeys, with no thoughts of love let alone intentions. But God had a different plan. He is a silly, outgoing, God-fearing man whose faith, laughter, and prayers changed my life in ways I didn't even know I needed. Even during some of my hardest moments, he made me smile, feel safe, and remember joy. He encouraged me, motivated me, and gently pushed me to grow-spiritually, emotionally, and in every way. Through him, my faith deepened, my walk with God became stronger, and I found myself filled with hope and positivity again. Seeing him more and more at the gym became a highlight of my days, and let's be honest a man who makes you laugh and lifts your spirit does something extraordinary to your soul. Four years later, that unplanned meeting has grown into a love rooted in faith, joy, and purpose. Today, we stand ready to choose each other forever, grateful for the blessing God placed in our paths. Reed's POV I remember it like it was yesterday. In January 2022, I started my fitness journey during a season of rebuilding myself spiritually, mentally, and physically. On my very first day at the gym, one woman immediately caught my attention — Ms. Parker. She carried herself with quiet confidence and strength. That first workout nearly took me out, but I told myself I couldn’t quit. I had to come back — and I did. Every day after that, I worked out near her, too shy to say a word. Eventually, I built the courage to DM her. Our conversations started slow, but something kept telling me not to give up. By March, I noticed she wasn’t coming to the gym as much, so I checked on her. That message turned into a one-hour phone call, and from there everything changed. We started talking daily, going to the gym together, and soon went on our first date. From that moment, I knew this was something special. Our bond only grew stronger. We began going to church together, building a life rooted in love, patience, and God’s timing. She loved me for who I am and accepted me completely — even loving my girls as her own. If I had never walked into that gym, I would’ve never found the love of my life. I’m forever thankful for her, and I can’t wait to say “I do.” With God at the center, I know our marriage will be blessed.
