Travel Notes

The Wedding Website of Carrie Zrenda and Jeffrey Ross
We’ve reserved a room block at The Cloudveil, which is also where the ceremony and reception will take place. The closest airport is Jackson Hole (JAC)—just a short, stunning 20-minute drive through the Tetons to town. We know some guests are staying at other local hotels and inns—no problem at all! Jackson is charming, walkable, and easy to navigate. Stay wherever feels most comfortable for you—we’re just so glad you’ll be joining us. As we get closer, we’ll be updating this site with more info about what’s happening in Jackson that week, so check back soon!

Jackson Hole Airport

The best airport to fly into is Jackson Hole Airport (JAC)—just 20 minutes from town and tucked right inside Grand Teton National Park. It’s a beautiful arrival (yes, you really land in the mountains!). Rental cars are available at the airport, and having one makes it easy to explore the area during your stay.

Travel Note

Altitude Tips

Jackson sits at about 6,200 feet, so some visitors may feel a bit of altitude adjustment—especially in the first day or two. While most people feel totally fine, you might notice things like mild headaches, trouble sleeping, or feeling winded a little faster than usual. To help your body adjust: Stay hydrated (water is your best friend at altitude!), Take it easy your first day, Eat regularly and don’t skip meals. If you're over 70, it may be worth asking your doctor about altitude medications—we're told some travelers find they help ease the transition. Nothing to stress about, just something to be mindful of so you feel your best while enjoying the mountains!
