Adrian Lobdill, a California native, graduated from Berkeley and built a career in the Bay Area. Zoya Segelbacher, an East Coast girl, set out West in 2015 in the pursuit of a life she loved. After a short stint of working in New York, Zoya felt California calling her back and returned to San Francisco, meeting Adrian shortly thereafter in 2019. Ever since then, the two have enjoyed a life filled with friends, travel, amazing food, and mutual interests in music, fashion/street-fashion, wellness, and technology. On a beautiful Autumn day in Central Park, after a carriage ride from a New Yorker with a hilarious penchant for the most random Manhattan facts and factoids, Adrian popped the question. Zoya obviously said "yes!", some family emerged from the bushes to celebrate and just like that, the Central Park Ramble became their special place. They are thrilled to invite you to celebrate their wedding at the Beau-Rivage Palace in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The hotel is registered in the Inventory of Swiss Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance. Nestled in Lausanne, along the banks of Lake Geneva, the property is also a member of the luxury hotel collective, Leading Hotels of the World. Lausanne is a very intentional destination for this wedding. It is in the canton where Zoya's father was raised, it's where her parents were married, and it's home to her Swiss family. This venue holds significance for the couple, not only because of Zoya's half-Swiss nationality and her family's sentimental ties to the Beau-Rivage Palace (this property is where Zoya's father apprenticed on his journey to becoming an Executive Chef - a career that eventually brought him to America) but because of Zoya's and Adrian's shared love for a grand affair!
