Absolutely! We want to make sure everyone is well-fed! Please let us know about any allergies or accommodations when you RSVP, or contact us directly if you need special arrangements.
Thank you for your question! We are so excited you are attending our Nuptial Mass! In the Catholic faith, Holy Eucharist, or communion, is a sacrament where the unconsecrated hosts (bread) become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Receiving communion is reserved for baptized Catholics who have received their first communion and are in a state of grace. However, we invite all guests who are not prepared to receive the Eucharist to participate in the Mass during communion reception by coming up to receive a blessing from one of the celebrating priests or ministers. We hope you experience the love and joy of the occasion and appreciate your understanding and support.
Please note that parking at St. Athanasius is somewhat limited, with a lot located on Eastwood Street off of Lincoln Drive. Street parking may also be available, but we recommend early arrival if you are planning to drive. For the reception, there is plenty of parking, so consider carpooling or arranging transportation!
Absolutely! We warmly welcome kids to our celebration and can't wait to share this special day with your little ones!
