Lake Monticolo is another smaller lake in close proximity to Appiano. Great for walk/ hikes through the forest.

Great spot to enjoy a spritz and take in the atmosphere of the city.
Funivia del Renon, Soprabolzano
There is parking at the bottom of the cable car. If your hotel includes the sudtirol mobil pass then you are able to use this to take the cable car.

Alpe di Siusi
Looking to explore the dolomites? Alpe di Siusi is filled with stunning views and packed with outdoor adventure ranging from leisurely strolls to hiking and biking. We recommend taking the cable car up and walking to a nearby hut ot enjoy some drinks and typical food from the region while soaking up the views. If you take trail no. 7 to Tierser Alpl, this is where we got engaged. This is the parking lot for the cable car: Schlernstraße, 39/1, 39040 Kastelruth, Autonome Provinz Bozen - Südtirol
