Travel Note
If you are thinking about visiting Fenway Park or the MFA this is the neighborhood for you. You will be able to walk to the ceremony venue and the subway/trolley. Shopping on Newbury Street is about a 15 minute walk. Located adjacent to the "colleges of the Fenway" you will be near a lot of students. This is about a 20 minute drive from the reception venue ($15 in a Lyft).

If you thinking of staying here you are likely to find the most affordable Airbnbs and you will be closest to the reception. However, Somerville is a bit further from the attractions of Boston (15-25 minute drive). There are also several neighborhoods that vary greatly in terms of access to the Subway, shopping, and dining. Davis Square - Lots of little shops, indie movie theater, and several restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Assembly Square - Assembly row is a new and nice mall with restaurants, shops, and a couple nice hotels. It is not close to the subway, but you can drive into town easily. If you are willing to do the research there are plenty of great ethnic restaurants nearby. Sullivan Square - Pass Winter Hill - mostly residential

Cambridge is located in between the wedding chapel (Boston and reception venue (Somerville). There are a few ideal neighborhoods that I would recommend. Kendall (AKA area four, Cambridgeport, technology square): Located near MIT, there are several restaurants in Kendall and nearby Central square. If you are a walker or jogger, you can head over the river into Boston on foot. Easy access to public transport. Central (AKA Cambridgeport): Lots of restaurants and shops. Central is livelier, louder, and has more ethnic restaurants than Kendall and Harvard. There are also like 8 vegan friendly restaurants, if that's your thing. Harvard: You can pahk your.... nevermind. Harvard is fun place to stay with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. This is a bit farther from the chapel and Boston than Kendall and Central. Porter: There may be some nice AirBnBs in this neighborhood, but its a bit farther from the action. However, it is easy to jump on the subway or catch a Lyft.
