A quick walk from the Durham Marriott, this farmers market is open from 8:00-12:00 on Saturdays.

Durham Farmers' Market

Although we are definitely Tar Heels, we can't deny that the Duke's campus is worth a visit. We recommend taking time to tour Duke's botanical gardens. Grab a coffee, drink, bubble tea or bite to eat on Ninth St while you're there.

Duke University + Sarah P. Duke Gardens

This art museum has a free permanent collection and a large outdoor sculpture garden. It's about a 20-minute drive from downtown Durham and is well-worth the trip.

North Carolina Museum of Art

Take a 20 minute drive from downtown Durham to reach downtown Chapel Hill. Grab some food at one of the restaurants on Franklin street, wander though UNC's campus, or visit the Ackland Art Museum. We recommend trying Topo's roof top on a nice afternoon!
