Rafael and Zoila both immigrated from the Dominican Republic at an early age. Rafael lived in Boston since he was 15 years old and Zoila Lived in Lawrence since she was 18 years old. However, fate had never brough them together. They had many friends in common and causes they both partcipated in and cared about. One summer day in 2018, a good friend of both, introduced them at a Fenway Park event and a month later they went out on their first date. They both love to dance and that brought them together like a magnet immediately. Since then, they have shared memories with family and friends and are now ready to officialy, in front of family and friends, make a lifetime commitment to be each other's partner for life.
