My name is Dana, and I'll be the sobbing bridesmaid at this wedding. Having introduced Josh and Zoie, I am 100% responsible for the love story we are celebrating! Jokes aside, I feel honored to share a piece of their story. Although I have to confess, it was not my intention to set Zoie and Josh up! I merely introduced them one serendipitous night in college, where it all began... I met Zoie at University of Oregon. I was in a friend's dorm, and in walks a soft spoken supermodel. I was immediately drawn to her gentle nature. But upon getting to know Zoie, I was taken with her passion and fierce convictions to appreciate and sustain the world. I met Josh while studying abroad in Spain. As it turns out, I met my match in energy alone because Josh had enough for both of us. I admired his unparalleled work ethic, passion for history, and interest in making the world a better place, just like sweet Zoie. I knew from the start that Josh was head over heels for Zoie. After 7 months of friendship and patience (and some date nights that Zoie didn’t know were date nights), Zoie sat me down to confess her feelings. I learned a big lesson that day: never underestimate Josh Sherman. Their relationship ignited immediately, but they included me in everything. It was and continues to be Josh and Zoie’s inclusive nature that make them a great match. One of the most important factors of a successful and meaningful relationship is balance, and Josh and Zoie execute this PERFECTLY. I have no doubt they will continue to impact this world with their ambitions, quest for adventure, and love for one another.
